Officials from the National League side were left perplexed, with Johnson choosing to speak out of the bizarre transfer rumour.

He said, as mentioned by Devon Live: “Not true – we’ve had no contact from Luton Town.”

The Gulls have also reported the incident to the social media site in an effort to have get the fake account taken down.

It certainly did the trick!

It is said that Luton Town have taken their own action of their own.

For the 2019/20 season, the 25 year old has managed to score 19 times in the league and cup, and incredibly he smashed 32 in the National League South last season.
