League Two new boys Salford have an initial allocation, which can be increased upon request, of just 3.3% of the 90,000 capacity in the national stadium.

The current amount handed to the Ammies is the same amount that they managed to sell out for their National League playoff final against AFC Fylde under a year ago, which had an overall attendance of just over 8,000.

League One Portsmouth, who overcame Exeter in the semi-final thanks to John Marquis’ last-minute winner, book their place in a second-consecutive final in this tournament.

Last year they faced Sunderland in front of 85,021 – the highest attended match in the UK and the second highest in Europe that weekend, while also setting a new attendance record for the competition.

With their share of that ticket allocation limited to 40,000 a year ago, they have been handed an additional 10,300 seats for their trip to the capital this time around.
