Three Premier League clubs monitoring Championship player after failed AC Milan move

Three Premier League clubs monitoring Championship player Antonee Robinson after his failed AC Milan move.

The United States international has been a regular at Wigan Athletic, making 30 appearances and even getting a goal to his name against Millwall.

According to the Mirror, Chelsea along with Newcastle United and Aston Villa are interested in Robinson, due to making many an impressive performance this season.

He poised to join AC Milan for £10m last month but the move fell through as the medical couldn’t be completed on time.

A fee for the player was only agreed between the two clubs 24 hours before the deadline. Which meant Robinson was left battling against the clock to have the checks done and for him to sign on the dotted line.

As he was close to joining the Serie A side, YouTubers made their own highlights and skill video, showing what Robinson can do, check it out below…

All three Premier League clubs have been in touch with Wigan about the 22-year-old since the news broke that Milan boss Stefano Pioli was on the verge of signing the little-known asset.

The Latics signed Robinson from Everton in the summer for £1.98m after he spent the previous campaign on loan at the DW Stadium.

Robinson is contracted to Wigan until 2022, and with interest set to grow considerably should he keep up his great form this season, the Championship club should make a tidy profit if they sell him to a top-flight side this summer.
