Thomas Turgoose calls out Grimsby fans for chanting about Tommy Robinson at Bradford City during the League Two fixture on Saturday afternoon.
A section of the 2,545 Mariners are alleged to have made racist chanting at Valley Parade as a dramatic 1-1 draw saw Luke Hendrie cancel out Lee Novaks’ 80th minute opener deep into stoppage time to rescue a point.
The travelling supporters were praised by Holloway after the game for their part in support which helped his side to getting a draw, saying they were “absolutely fantastic”.
Turgoose on the other hand had something different to say, express his disappointment and disgust toward the behaviour of some of the away fans.
The This Is England actor called out some supporters for “racist chants” and singing the name of English Defence League founder and far-right activist Tommy Robinson.
Turgoose wrote: “Hearing absolute nob heads chanting racist chants and singing Tommy Robinson to Asian families in Bradford was possibly the most embarrassing thing I’ve seen in my years of supporting them. There’s no room for that grow up.”
“And if you are one of those people, unfollow me and go deep throat a chainsaw. Cheers.”

Fans gave their reaction as Thomas Turgoose calls out Grimsby fans for the Tommy Robinson chants…
Only heard it at the pub before the game, they were booed out by other town fans tbf. No place for it at all.

Bradford fan here. I'm sure there were 150 idiots who hide behind a police escort that did this. Sake ones that damaged the pub they were in. But 2,600 Grimsby fans attended. And all the ones I came across were behaving well Thomas. Just having a sing song. ?

Well said Thomas. no need football rivalry aside no space for racism ?

They are certain individuals that ruin it, no need for that behaviour. I’m asian myself. The majority Grimsby fans were well behaved and good supporters. Just here to support there team. Well mannered. Best away support I’ve seen this season mate. #gtfc

Top shout – not needed anywhere, ever. Embarrassing & wrong

Well said Tom. Glad you called them out on it but they will probably make excuses for it or pretend it never happened ??

There should be no racism in any form of life. Unfortunately football fans think they are a breed apart. They embarrass themselves and the town. The minority always spoil it for the majority. #notoracism

That’s not on. I didn’t hear anything and the rest of the support was top notch, great away following added to a cracking atmosphere. Always the few ruin it for the many.

Spot on. If I hear this from my own fans I wont hesitate to report them. Done it before and would do it again.

Police were told and did fuck all about it as usual. Very small section of idiots that are never at games until it's a "big away game, or local derby" – think it got sort of self policed as time went on when more fans turned up and ignored their idiocy. Oh and well said. ??
