Thogden celebrates Saudi Arabia winner in an Argentina shirt surrounded by Argentina fans

Thogden has gone viral as he celebrates the Saudi Arabia winner in an Argentina shirt surrounded by Argentina fans at the World Cup.

The English footie Vlogger/YouTuber who is regularly spotted at matches across the world, was in attendance to watch the two-time World Cup winners Argentina stunned by the bold and brilliant performance of Saudi Arabia in Group C’s opening match in Lusail.

Ranked 51st in the world, Saudi Arabia could have been done and dusted in the first half with Lionel Messi grabbing the opener from the penalty spot before Argentina saw three goals ruled out for offside.

However the Green Falcons turned the game around in a stunning 10-minute period in the second half.

Saleh Al Shehri got the equaliser sending his low effort into the back of the net and Salem Al Dawsari then put them ahead to spark jubilant scenes in the stands.

Theo Ogden couldn’t believe what he was seeing, and seemingly forgot what shirt he was wearing at the time, as he celebrated wildly nearly falling over the row of seats in front, with a number of Argentine supporters around him with ands on their heads.

A new clip has also emerged on social media, also of Thogden but this time filmed at Ahmad bin Ali Stadium in Al Rayyan.

He watched as Belgium won 1-0, but were pushed all the way by an impressive Canada side who were at their first World Cup in 36 years.

Canada was dominant for large parts of the Group F match but were inefficient in front of goal, especially when Alphonso Davies had a penalty saved by Thibaut Courtois, Belgium’s keeper.

Courtois had to also save a shot by Alistair Johnston, but the deadlock was broken on the verge of half time when Michy Batshuayi took Alderweireld’s long ball and scored with a strong left-foot finish past Milan Borjan.

Jonathan David missed a great chance to draw Canada level.

Courtois saved a great effort from Cyle Larin.

Canada felt cheated after two appeals for penalty were rejected in the first period.

Canada kept pushing forward in the second period, but it was Roberto Martinez’s side who held on to the victory, despite their performance that made mockery of their position as second in world rankings.

Thoden, in a Belgium kit, was in the stands for this one, and a video shows him seemingly going absolutely mental as the Belgians going in front.

He passionately grabbed the Belgium crest on his shirt, ran up and down the steps, surrounded by Belgian and Canadian supporters and then got his head right up close to a camera phone with another fan recording him going crazy.
