The reason as to why Leeds’ Elland Road has been left out of FIFA 21 is revealed and it’s bound to make their fanbase unhappy.
Whites supporters expressed their disappointment about their club’s iconic and popular stadium becoming the only Premier League ground to not be included in the newest version of the computer game.
For many years now, every club that is promoted from the EFL Championship to the Premier League will have their stadium created.

Developer EA Sports said however that they weren’t able to create Elland Road in time for the game’s launch because of the delayed end to the previous season.
Fulham’s Craven Cottage and West Bromwich Albion’s The Hawthorns’ is already in the game as they played in the Premier League more recently to Leeds.
One fan said the absence “might end up costing them a fair bit in sales”.
EA Sports said it was committed to resolving the issue in a future update.
Another Leeds supporter shared a photo of him cancelling his pre-order, writing: “No Elland Road, no Fifa 21. Come back to me EA Sports when you sort your lives out.”
The developers promise the latest instalment of the long-running series will be the most realistic yet, with the release available from the 6th of October on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.

Meanwhile, it’s more bad news for Leeds fans and football games on the console as some gamers are having to play Pro Evolution Soccer with weird looking faces on squad members.
Pro Evolution Soccer 2021 have had their Season Update released earlier this week and once again, a variety of teams have gone through new face scans.
However it would seem that Leeds United didn’t get that opportunity, and now they are left which having bizarre looking footballers in game.
Excitement is back at Marcelo Bielsa’s side after finally returning to the top flight football this year for the first time since 2004 and and it means that gamers/fans will be able to play PES matches at Elland Road, bringing extra anticipation.
However, publisher Konami didn’t seem to get the memo as one Leeds fan jumped on PES to check out the squad and he came across a bunch of unrecognisable faces.
First up is Patrick Bamford, who hasn’t been scanned in the game and looks nothing like him.
PES 21’s Version of Patrick Bamford has absolutely done me ???? pic.twitter.com/jJ0onS95zt

The next player to be looked at is full-back Luke Ayling who looks more like Burnley striker Chris Wood than the former Yeovil and Bristol City player himself.
Why’s Ayling Japanese ??? pic.twitter.com/ikC2A1kgCe

Even the graphics on Kalvin Phillips face is just embarrassing, some strange facial hair along with everything else is completely wrong, even that trademark hairstyle of his.
Phillips made his England debut earlier this month and was a standout performer in Saturday’s 4-3 defeat to the current Premier League holders Liverpool.

There is good news for Leeds fanbase however, with there being a few players in their squad that do have their actual faces.
Veteran midfielder Pablo Hernandez looks how he should as does club record signing Rodrigo, who has an official scan from his time with Valencia.

Fans reacted to the reason Leeds’ Elland Road has been left out of FIFA 21, see what they said below…
Imagine not having the best ground in England in the game. Have some shame.

Tbf it says a lot about them. & I ain’t bothered for the new game – didn’t improve pro clubs or anything. Only reason I’d get it is for stadium, bielsa etc.

Eastpoint arena for a couple more weeks?

This is a joke from EA. Imagine 16 Years to get in the top flight and no proper stadium.

How do they miss putting Elland Road? One of the most amazing stadiums in England. ?
— Thiago 6 (@Papiikennyy7) September 23, 2020
This wasn’t announced before they started taking pre-orders ? thankfully I held off.
Seeing Elland Road on there was the main reason I’d buy this game. Saved some money I guess!

Not even a Leeds fan but gotta feel sorry for them, 16 years they have been waiting for their stadium to be in the game yet EA can’t even do that. Ea are slowly dying, from 116 stadiums last year to 95.

Ivy Lane is a better stadium than Elland Road anyway they should be pleased with this https://t.co/Zd7eHEAGBl

While Elland Road isn’t in FIFA 21 for now, please @EASPORTSFIFA do all remaining EFL team stadium scans.. BUY the EFL license before PES does!
— Jake Hopes (@Hopesy96) September 24, 2020
No Elland road on FIFA is that some sort of joke? Produces one of the best atmospheres in England. Here football fans have Bramall lane instead that’s a proper stadium ??
