In the 2016/17 season, Plymouth Argyle were top of League Two at Christmas.
They ended up finishing in 2nd and promoted to League One.
Plymouth won automatic promotion to League One in style.

2017 - LUTON TOWN
In the 2017/18 season, Luton Town were top of League Two at Christmas.
They ended up finishing in 2nd and promoted to League One.

2018 - LINCOLN CITY
In the 2018/19 season, Lincoln City were top of League Two at Christmas.
They ended up finishing in 1st and promoted to League One with a total of 85 points.

The current League Two leaders for the 2019/20 season is Swindon Town, who are four points clear of second place Exeter City, five ahead of Crewe in 3rd and seven ahead of Cheltenham who sit 4th. Swindon will I think get promoted and winning the league looks probable if they keep Doyle after the transfer window.
