League 2 going WPPG over PPG… both the same outcome
Crewe, Swindon and Plymouth go up
Cheltenham, Exeter, Colchester, Northampton in playoffs
Clubs voted 20-4 in favour of no relegation, means Stevenage stay in the EFL and Barrow could take Bury’s place – subject to approval

However, they want to settle the final table via a weighted points-per-game system with two-legged play-off semi-finals and then a final.
It has emerged that League Two clubs have voted 20-4 in favour of there being no relegation of the bottom club, currently Stevenage. Subject to formal vote and EFL, FA ratification.
Clubs can’t afford Covid19 tests and for players to come off furlough. Needs ratifying by board.
Meanwhile, teams in League One will have to meet again on Monday after they couldn’t come to an agreement.

Not really surprising at that level clubs budgets are incredibly tight we’ll see this happening at each level the longer football is suspended

Welcome to non-league. You’re going down.

As they’re not in League 2 I can’t imagine there was a need for them to be consulted
— Jack Tanner (@mrjacktanner) May 15, 2020
Has Glen Murray approved this yet?

Weighted points per game is a guessing game. PPG isn’t. There’s no way weighted PPG should be allowed. Doesn’t take enough variables into account. Ridiculous way to end it.

This is the *only* sensible option.

This perfectly shows how poorly the vast sums of money is distributed in our game.

League one has a clearer gap for automatic promotion then league two but yet league one needs to be played out! Poor behaviour from all teams wanting to play the season!
I now wish Fleetwood and Sunderland both finish outside the top six and spent another in league 1 #PUSB pic.twitter.com/j02n6Lmf4I

League Two season over then. Financially impossible for most clubs to finish this season. Can see League One following suit.

Fuck sake,League two has finished. Walsall only needed to win there last 10 games scoring 98 goals to get into those Play-Offs. I feel robbed.

Well that confirms it – League Two season ends, @StevenageFC likely to be relegated out of the Football League with a whimper on ppg. To be honest, we didn’t deserve to stay up on a technicality, focus was lost on the team this season in favour of sponsors and new stands.
