It’s done, the Third Round of the EFL Trophy is now over and teams have today found out who they will face at the next stage after the Quarter Final Draw.
It was made live on Jim White’s talkSPORT show, where he was joined by studio guest Natalie Sawyer and EFL pundit and former West Brom, Wolves and Exeter City forward Don Goodman to conduct the draw.

It is no longer split into northern and southern sections, meaning anyone could face any of the remaining seven teams.
Of the eight teams, two are from League One, five from League Two, and one academy side.
THE QUARTER FINAL DRAW:

SALFORD CITY v ACCRINGTON STANLEY
PORTSMOUTH v SCUNTHORPE UNITED
NEWPORT COUNTY v LEICESTER U21
All of the ties are scheduled to take place the week commencing the 20th of January 2020.
