Sutton United manager personally covers cost of season ticket price increase

Sutton United manager Steve Morison has been praised as he personally covers the cost of the 2025/26 season ticket price increase.

Steve will cover the difference between last season’s early bird season ticket prices (24/25) and the club’s new renewal rates (25/26), from this Monday 24th March to Friday 28th March…

This came following a meeting and talking through problems with a group of Sutton United season ticket holders.

Sutton have increased their ticket prices – one example is an adult standing being £299 in the 2024/25 early bird season ticket prices, but this is now set at at £349.

The club currently sit 12th in their first season back in the National League – after relegation last season – with 51 points from 38 games played, 6 points from the playoff places.

Sutton United Announces Revised Season Ticket Renewal Prices

After meeting and talking through problems with a group of Sutton United season ticket holders this morning, First Team Head Coach Steve Morison has made a remarkable gesture to support the club’s loyal fans, personally covering the difference between last season’s Early Bird season ticket prices and the club’s new renewal rates for one week only.

From Monday to Friday this week, supporters renewing their season tickets will pay last year’s Early Bird prices, with Steve making up the shortfall.

Steve’s passion for the Sutton United faithful is clear. He has been inspired by the energy, noise, and unwavering commitment of our fans, both home and away, and wants to ensure that support remains as strong as ever—not just for the remainder of this season, but for years to come.

• The renewal period for season tickets starts at 10:00 am on Monday March 24th and ends on Saturday April 5th at 11:59 pm.

• Within these two weeks, there is a period of five days (Monday March 24th to Friday March 28th at
9:00 pm) where prices will be frozen at the 2024/2025 season’s Early Bird pricing (excluding prices for Under 14s).

• The renewal period will reopen on Saturday March 29th at 10:00 am with the previously announced pricing. Prices will then rise during the Early Bird window (starting Thursday April 17th) and again for general sale (starting Monday May 5th).

Renewals can be paid in full or in three interest-free instalments via Klarna (online only). We appreciate that this is a small window of time and may fall before payday, but unfortunately, due to other financial obligations, this is the latest we can extend this period.

We suggest that all supporters, where possible, renew their season ticket within the first five day period, as prices will be rising for renewals after this period, and then for Early Bird and general sale.

Sutton United remains committed to making football at the VBS Community Stadium accessible and affordable. Visit our website or contact the ticketing office for more details.
