Step 6 club sign ex-Luton, Northampton, Southend, Cambridge midfielder

One Step 6 club from the non league system sign an ex-Luton, Northampton, Southend, Cambridge midfielder in Luke Guttridge.

Newton Abbot Spurs from the South West Peninsula League Premier Division East have brought in the very experience EFL footballer Luke Guttridge, pleasing many fans.

He is among many new recruits brought into the club along with Brad Crocombe, Callum Leech and Ashley Dove.

The non league outfit revealed the news via Twitter with the caption: “The club are absolutely delighted to announce we have secured the services of ex Torquay United, Cambridge United, Southend United, Leyton Orient, Colchester United, Northampton Town, Aldershot Town, Luton Town and Dagenham & Redbridge midfielder, Luke Guttridge.

“With 562 appearances and 82 goals in the EFL, Luke has agreed to come and play as and when he can, to help bolster options for the reserves. At 38 years of age, such a top profile signing will be an inspiration to the young lads throughout the club. Huge news.”
