Spurs fans took to fume at new signing Ollie Tanner’s old tweets trolling Tottenham as non league Lewes cash in on a six-figure deal.
Social media users uncovered posts which showed him mocking Harry Kane’s speech and cheering for their Premier League rivals Arsenal.
Tanner joins Spurs in six-figure move from the Isthmian Premier Division outfit Lewes after impressing while training with Spurs’ U23 side.
However, Tanner has already got off to a bad start with the Spurs faithful after tweets emerged of him mocking the club’s captain.

One supporter told Tanner to ‘do one’ and another called for Daniel Levy to have the lad replaced because such remarks on social media were made.
He said: ‘This Ollie Tanner can do one as well. Arsenal fan and has slagged off Kane online for the way he speaks. #LevyOut #ENICOut’
After being impressed with Tanner’s progress, Spurs reportedly offered tanner a package worth around £100,000. Â
It is believed Lewes have accepted Tottenham’s offer – which also includes a sell-on fee of between 10-20%. Very good for the non league outfit.
The news comes as a blow to Brighton – who had been keen in the former Arsenal and Charlton winger.Â
According to reports, the Seagulls had an initial offer rejected by Lewes as it would have required the 19 year old to remain at the Isthmian Premier Division side on for the rest of the season. Â
Nevertheless, Tanner will go straight into the Tottenham U23 squad, filling the void left by Dilan Markanday after he departed to join Championship promotion hopefuls Blackburn Rovers.Â
