Sheffield Wednesday laugh at boos and chants coming from Sheffield United fans before the Steel City derby at Bramall Lane.
On Sunday morning, the players from Wednesday arrived at the ground to a hostile reception from their rivals, with captain Barry Bannan, Josh Windass and ex-Blade Max Lowe on the end of the worst of it.
Additionally, Wednesday boss Danny RΓΆhl, was also subjected to some chants. Despite the unfriendly welcome, the players maintained a positive demeanor, smiling as they proceeded through the entrance.

It was Sheffield United who had the last laugh however, as a second-half goal from Tyrese Campbell wins the Steel City derby for the Blades.
Sheffield United boss Chris Wilder:
“There’s a lot of pressure on you and you can’t get away from it. It was a tight game decided by one bit of quality.
“I’d have loved for us to have played the kind of football we’d played over the first 14 games but the biggest thing is we got the result.
“The players stood up and saw it out. You’ve seen a team that’s really connected with the supporters. It wasn’t a game of high quality but derbies normally aren’t.
“The reaction to go four wins on the bounce (after back-to-back losses) is an incredible achievement. I’m not saying we’ve won anything because the season doesn’t end after 15 games, but we’re in a good place.”
Sheffield Wednesday boss Danny Rohl:
“A tough one, neither team deserved to win today, there was one shot on target.
“They scored (their one chance) and that is the difference at the top of the table.
“We changed the shape to bring on more and more attacking players and we felt we could hurt them. We created more and more but there was no rhythm.
“We spoke about them being dangerous in the second wave from set pieces. We made some silly fouls in key areas and that’s something we need to improve.”
John Pearson (on BBC Radio Sheffield): “Barry Bannan of Sheffield Wednesday applauds the fans after the team’s defeat
“That’s sometimes the difference, goals change games.
“Sheffield United have done well and get the win but I don’t think Wednesday have been poor and shouldn’t beat themselves up.
“I think the final ball let us down today. Gustavo Hamer is a real class act and caused us problems.
“Credit to Sheffield United.
“We regroup and get ourselves back together.”
Chris Basham (reporting while on BBC Radio Sheffield): “Five and half years we’ve been waiting for this game.
“We said the manager will want to get them in at the break and Sheffield United grew in the second half.
“Yes they went in as favourites but there is also that emphasis to do well.
“It’s a massive win for where they are in the table.
“It was a fantastic finish from Tyrese Campbell for the goal.
“This will bring confidence into the Sheffield United camp.”
