Serge Aurier reportedly STORMED OUT of the Tottenham Hotspur stadium after it ‘kicked off’ at half time of Thursday’s league game.
Spurs players are said to have been involved in a fiery half time inquest during their defeat to Liverpool in scenes that resulted in Serge Aurier leaving the ground.
To make it worse, their main player Harry Kane is said to be facing a ‘few weeks’ on the sidelines after suffering an injury to both ankles.
There was anger among the squad at the poor defensive errors that led to Roberto Firmino breaking the deadlock just before the break which saw some heated angry exchanges between players.
Jose Mourinho dragged off substitute Aurier at half time, which subsequently infuriated the defender, who promptly exited the stadium and made his way out.
Jose Mourinho said of the half-time team talk: ‘It was the mood of team that was difficult to accept you are losing.
‘It’s difficult to accept the nature of the goal because the goal is in some aspects a replica of the chance they had in the first minute. So it’s, of course, a mood where people is not happy.’
Sources also claim that it ‘kicked off’ in the home dressing room at half time which of course didn’t help things and no doubt led to the dramatic second half which saw Liverpool win 3-1.
Rumours are that Aurier had a fight with goalkeeper Hugo Lloris with glass smashed everywhere inside.
Harry Kane will undergo assessments and scans over the next 48 hours – though Mourinho said: ‘Two ankles, the first was a bad tackle, it was Thiago, the second one I didn’t know well.
‘But two injuries in both ankles, the second one worst than the first one – a few weeks, I don’t know.
‘For Harry to leave a game when he wants to play – it’s not a nothing injury. How long we have to wait and see.’
Jurgen Klopp spoke on Liverpool finally getting their first win in six: ‘I’m delighted, we played a great game – it was super intense. We scored in the right moments – and all the right people scored,’ he said.
‘That was who we are – that was us. We showed massive fight and football. It was a good performance and I saw a lot of things I wanted to see.’

Fans reacted after seeing that Serge Aurier STORMED OUT of the Tottenham stadium after it ‘kicked off’ at half time…
@____kaza: Rip to his spurs career
@SpursfanMart: To be fair, it should have been Doherty being subbed at half time. He doesn’t offer much to the team at all, seems to have no confidence when playing. Certainly not the player he was at Wolves.
@HotspurNews1882: If this is true then Aurier is fucked
@AlexJHilton: I didn’t even realise he was playing!!
@Sammymutd: Amazon fumbled the bag. This was the season to shoot the doc
@DarrenR28: If this is true then he’s finished at Tottenham and it would explain the shocking second half performance
@SuperiorSissoko: I’d do the fucking same if Doherty stayed on instead of me
@TheKFCKezman: Man’s finished
@Daniel_Evans56: Strap yourself in guys, it’s going to be a fun ride, watching it happen to another club. Spurs fans, from experience, it goes tits up from here.
@6Thiagoat: We in for another Jose meltdown?
@GerardGCL: Wish this was in the All Or Nothing Tottenham Hotspur
@Billie_T: Toxic spurs you truly love to see it. Reminiscent of the days we got smacked at Anfield under Sherwood and rumours of a fight at full time. The glory days are back
@youneshh: Quick get the Amazon cameras back there immediately!!
@thfchannah: probably won’t play again now and I’ll have to watch doherty play against us at rb every week 🙂 can’t wait :))
@warsamefooty: When it all ends in tears at Spurs you know Jose is going to rip them to shreds. “I’ve won more than Tottenham. Me, alone. If they sack me, a guy with more trophies than them, then they should all resign as well”
@Pipey78: Totally unacceptable- should be on the transfer list by tomorrow morning
@CFC_db1: Tottenham fans shouldn’t care he’s shit
@SR16i: HE’S LOST THE DRESSING ROOM
@MarkTHFC92: He’s right to be fuming. Somehow Doherty stayed on? Wolves must be cackling with that deal now.
