Romford, who sit bottom of the Isthmian North Division, have made yet another signing in experienced EFL player Cedric Evina, making it their 42nd (we hope we got that correct) signing this season.
He’s a 28-year-old left-back that started out as a youngster with Arsenal before spending time on loan at Oldham Athletic.

The Latics were keen on his performances during his 12 appearances for them, where he got on the scoresheet once, so ended up signing him on a free transfer in January 2011.
He played 15 more times for them, again finding the net during his second spell.
Despite being offered a new contract at the end of that season, he rejected it due to personal reasons.
Evina then headed for Charlton Athletic on a two-year deal with Charlton Athletic in June 2011, where he stayed until 2014, playing just 23 games.
A move to Doncaster Rovers followed after getting released, during this four year stint, he featured 77 times and scored once whilst also having a season-long loan spell at Crawley Town, where he played 34 times.
His last Football League club to have played for was Notts County in 2018/19, he made 17 appearances, where they were then relegated and hasn’t had a club since.
When announcing the signing, Glenn Tamplin stated that he wants Evina’s new club Romford to reach League Two within five years, yet they are 30 points behind the team in the final playoff place of their current league.
He tweeted: “Romford wizards latest magical signing.
“This squad is now 1 player away from being complete and smashing the league next season .
“Lets get to league 2 within 5 years.
“Build the ROMFORD community and help those less fortunate and take the football club to the football league.”

It’s very very unlikely but you have to believe and give it a go honestly think we will reach league 2 in 8/10 years
Totally 100% will get promoted two leagues in two years to national leagues but to win them is a tough toug ask but I have to have targets and so do the players

Notts County 1st team regular? U r a joke Tamplin, we had him on loan for a few months last season and he played a handful of games. Typical double glazing salesman BS.

I can't see 4 promotions on the spin, no disrespect but with money you have, I'd get an experienced manager in who will get players with desire, not these players who just count likes on social media. Fair play what you did ith your money helping Harry walk, that was class!
