An amusing moment played out on Saturday afternoon as the referee gives a yellow card to Aston Villa fans as their chant goes viral.
Kevin Friend decided to have a play on the West Midlands club’s fanbase who gave him some light-hearted abuse from the stands.
The Villa faithful at Bristol City’s Ashton Gate Stadium could be heard singing “You’re just a shit Mike Dean, shit Mike Deeeaaaan!”, but the yellow card was brandished in front of them. Have a watch of the hilarious moment below…

Villa fans could also be heard singing, ‘You can shove your £100million up your arse!’ in light of Man City’s reported bid for Jack Grealish on Friday.
The Premier League outfit travelled to Bristol City for their third major pre-season friendly of the summer and within six minutes, Aston Villa were ahead.
A well-worked, flowing move found Jaden Philogene-Bidace, who finished confidently with a flick at the end of Watkins’ cross, putting it past Bentley in the Robins net.
10 minutes later, and Ashley Young came close for a second. A right-footed shot from the edge of the box after Philogene-Bidace won a foul. Young’s free-kick clipped the top of the crossbar, and would have hit the back of in the net otherwise after beating the goalkeeper.
Dean Smith’s side continued the pressure into the half-way point of the first half, with Bristol City struggling to get into the Villa half and pressing, instead willing the Villans to break them down.
Aston Villa were able to make it two just before the end of the half when John McGinn swung in a great delivery from a free-kick, which Bristol City keeper Bentley made a meal of – pushing the ball directly into the path of Ezri Konsa, who poked the ball into an open goal to give Aston Villa a two goal advantage.
Dean Smith’s side did well in the first half and were mostly dominant – and could have had a goal or two more on another day.
Bristol City started the second half the better of the two sides, asking more questions of Villa and forcing Smith’s side into making sloppy mistakes. It was a far cry away from the dominant first half by Aston Villa.
On the hour mark, Aston Villa made it three. Anwar El Ghazi did well to connect to the end of a long ball by Kortney Hause, heading it on down the line before chasing it and crossing it into a central position. Ollie Watkins was there to put in a diving header, finishing past Bentley to make it 3-0.
The second half went on to become rather drab, mainly due to tiring legs, but the chunks of the half just seemed like it was John McGinn tripping Bristol City players.
10 minutes from full time, Watkins and McGinn were replaced by youngsters Brad Young and Hayden Lindley, wearing 43 and 33 respectively.
It was a good win for the side managed by Dean Smith, while other players enjoyed a 1-0 win against Crewe at Bodymoor Heath.
Villa will play Sevilla next up before the season opener, something which Bristol City play this upcoming Saturday against Championship newcomers Blackpool.

@jonnyblundra: Fair play Villa fans, good bit of noise today. Bit of a shaky team today though, even though you won 3-0, and you must be gutted to see Grealish going. Still £100m in the bank. Good luck for the season, I am sure you will be holding your own in the prem again.
@villadoug1: Not a Kevin friend fan at all, disgraceful performance against palace last season, but have to say fair play to him today, took abuse in good humour with a smile on his face and actually got the crowd chanting for him in the end.
Highlight of my day was Kevin Friend booking the entire away end after calling him a wanker for the whole game. I love football. pic.twitter.com/9UabDv1Shf

A referee actually showing a sense of humour? His bosses will probably give him a formal warning for having a personality. https://t.co/y4t78VG8lq
