Marcus Rashford and Casemiro’s work rate has been slammed, Enzo Fernandez confronts Mason Mount and Erik ten Hag snaps back at a question.
It all came in Chelsea’s dramatic 4-3 win over Man Utd on Thursday night, with Cole Palmer netting two goals in the dying moments of stoppage time to complete his hat-trick and secure an extraordinary victory.
This historic winning goal, which was timed at 100 minutes and 39 seconds, left Man Utd in a state of shock having lead for nine minutes of injury time, meaning it’s the latest a team has ever led in a Premier League game that they gone on to lose.
Man Utd’s collapse was best summed up with a picture of FOUR players pointing towards the unmarked Cole Palmer on the edge of the box before he fired home Chelsea’s dramatic winner.
We also saw damning footage of Marcus Rashford’s work rate during his substitute appearance, showing a lack of desire, failing to chase down his opponent and didn’t show any attempt to try win the ball back.
Another video which left United fans reeling saw Casemiro struggling to track back and his legs couldn’t keep up with the pace of the match despite the scoreline being at 2-2 in the first half.
Marcus Rashford’s work rate during the game last night. 🤯
If I was a United fan I’d be absolutely fuming with this… Unacceptable. 🤬pic.twitter.com/bszpdFOrTt

At full time, Chelsea’s Enzo Fernandez was seen taunting Mason Mount, celebrating and proudly tapping the Chelsea badge on his chest, while also exchanging words with the midfielder.
That came after fans thought Enzo Fernandez was intentionally trying to provoke a reaction Mount, as video shows Fernandez kicking the ball at Mount, resulting in a heated face-off between the two players before they were separated.
As Mount walked away, he appeared to shout something Enzo Fernandez, escalating the tension further.
Mount was also on the end of stick by fans in the stands, getting booed by the home crowd as he came on. A fan held up a shirt with the number 19 on it, with the word ‘Judas’ on it.
Mount currently wears the number 7 for Man Utd, but previously wore number 19 during his time at Chelsea, which the home supporters used as a clear reference.

Erik ten Hag also snapped at Jules Breach’s “ridiculous” question in the post-match interview live on TNT Sports.
Breach said it was “unsustainable” for Man Utd to concede so many chances whilst speaking to Ten Hag, who was was having none of it, and responded: “It is ridiculous [to claim it’s unsustainable].
“We showed that we ranked fourth [best] for goals conceded before tonight, and everyone is talking to each other [about the shots] after.
“We are good, and we have good defending as a team and a good goalkeeper so I cannot do nothing.”
Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag, speaking to TNT Sports: “Yes we started poor, kicking the ball away and defending poorly.
“But you saw we were dominating the game and it was brilliant how we played – we deserved to win the game.
“But, you cannot give it away like we did and we have to manage this game better.
“It is a team performance, you can point to one of the players but it’s about a team performance.
“When it gets chaotic you have to deal with it as a team and we made the wrong decisions and we didn’t help out as a team.
“Out of possession we made bad decision – a lack of concentration.
“Also, I think lucky at the end with the penalty situation, questionable and very soft but we have to do better.”
On shots conceded: “It is ridiculous. We showed we were fourth ranking goals in conceding and everyone is talking to each other after, we are good and we have good defending as a team and a good goalkeeper so I cannot do nothing.”
On Raphael Varane and Jonny Evans fitness: “I cannot say at this moment.”
On the result: “Definitely a setback and now we have to deal with this and get up – we are resilient and you have seen that today.
“The quality of our football is really high, but football is about results and you have to bring it over time.”
"We deserved to win this game"

Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag to BBC Sport: “It was for the neutral an amazing game. A fantastic football game with a lot of quality.
“Manchester United dominated the game but we made individual errors that cost us the game.
“We have to learn from it. When you are a Man Utd player you should already know how to deal with this circumstance.
“I enjoyed how my team were playing, it was fantastic. We dominated the ball, we dominated the opponent.
“In five days we dropped five points. That is unacceptable. We should have a high standard if we want to compete for Champions League football.
“I don’t know [if the top four is gone]. I have to see again the ranking. Points will be more expensive. It’s very disappointing we’re doing this and making the wrong decisions. We gave away a game we should have won.
“As a team we should deal with this.”
On injuries to Varane and Evans: “Also Casemiro we have to take off. That doesn’t help in such moments. You need these types to show leadership and what to do.
“The team will be there on Sunday. They have character. They showed it today, fighting ourselves into the game.”
Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes to TNT Sports: “We had the game in our hands and we gave it away.
“It’s frustrating. It’s difficult to take. We had good control in the last few minutes. But they got two chances and scored two goals.
“From the corner we have to be much quicker. We knew beforehand they take corners and throw-ins quickly.
“In the last games we’ve conceded too many shots. It’s about defending your box.
“It’s a big game [on Sunday against Liverpool]. I don’t need to say anything [to his team-mates]. If I need to say anything it’s a problem because this is a massive club.”
Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino, speaking to BBC Sport: “I am relaxed because I think it was a tough game and the way it finished.
“So happy because I think we deserved to win. I think it was tough, but overall we were the better team.
“We started the game really well and the way we conceded affected the team in an emotional way.
“Man Utd play in transition really well and the way we concede the goals is the way not to concede.
“The reality is always to do more to win, but I think it was amazing and the performance was not great, but good.
“It is a start to building a connection with the fans and it will be very helpful for the future of us.”
On Cole Palmer: “The impact is amazing. He is doing a fantastic job, it is difficult to talk more about him. Today he showed the mentality and the quality.
“I said ‘Cole, two minutes more and to believe’.
“For us we need to think in the next game and to not think too much. We need to prepare for the next game and we only have a few days.”
Chelsea’s Cole Palmer to BBC Sport: “Crazy game. When we scored in the 98th minute I thought let’s go for it. Madness.
“I didn’t know what to do. I was running round when I scored.
“A hat-trick is a hat-trick. It was my first one, I’m really happy about it.
“I had a few penalties this season. I’m just going to continue to try to score them. If I get penalties, I’m going to try to score, I’m not going to try to miss.
“When we scored he [Pochettino] said two minutes, come on. He’s always trying to drive us on. We went for it and thankfully we scored.
“It’s a big winner. It’s a massive momentum booster. It puts everyone in a good mood. Hopefully we can kick on.”
Twitter users reacted with Rashford and Casemiro’s work rate slammed, Fernandez confronts Mount and Ten Hag snaps…
@sadixxy: Rashford is just a flop man United player now.
@Only_ASG: Palmer started walking and rashford slowed down 😂😂
@amber09203608: This is totally unacceptable
@Alex_Rowe18: He’s literally like this week in week out, idk how more people haven’t clocked it.
@JKD_LFC: What is going on with Rashford? Is it mental health? Is he making a statement to the Mgr or to the club or to the fans that he’s unhappy and wants to leave? Or something else?
@CheckCanopy: It seems like he’s going in the same direction as @dele_official which is concerning.
@PufcNathan: This is the sort of thing that should get a player sacked on the spot. Everyone can make a mistake/ have a bad game ect. Being to lazy to run when your on 300k a week is a disgrace
@bdmcast: As a Chelsea fan I was relieved when Rashford came on because I knew it would kill their attack. Garnacho is a far superior footballer.
@Ewan_MED_03: Literally got subbed on aswell not like he’s been running for 90 minutes
@OfficialDazlaar: I was shouting so much about this. Just so frustrating. 😩 Rather we didn’t play 3 up top and play 5 in the middle for someone to at least run.
@_louiehall10: It’s on a weekly basis
@BongoAFC: Probably tired , it’s hard work training 2/3 times a week for a couple of hours 🫣
@stuartreece_23: Rashford is a disgrace! He’s not on his own but he’s done for me. Playing or not playing to get another manager the boot. Time he was moved on.
@TigheTommy: “Don’t question my commitment”
@JonnyMc1: Casemiro is playing like Lee Mack in soccer aid here
@ben_dallimore: That’s just lazy.
