PSG – Slowly coming together?

The last year was a rollercoaster of emotions for the football fans. Lionel Messi departing Barcelona and joining PSG and Cristiano Ronaldo making a return to Manchester United was all that the football world spoke about.

Everyone was anticipating a reunion between Lionel Messi and Neymar Jr. at PSG and the start of a new strike partnership with Kylian Mbappe. Still, things didn’t go exactly to plan. With several miscommunications and errors, Lionel Messi saw him having the worst season of his life on his terms with no real contribution to the team.

With Messi desperately looking to regain form, it was not the best season for Neymar and Mbappe, who were constantly at each other.

But 2022 is a different story.

With Messi, Mbappe, and Neymar finally making it work, everyone purchasing PSG tickets feels like they are closing in on their long-awaited UEFA Champions League silverware.

Israel’s Maccabi Haifa was the latest victim of this striking trio as they brought in a new glimpse of PSG in the UEFA Champions League game, which they won 3-1.

An early opener from Messi was followed by a goal for Mbappe that Messi assisted. Next, Neymar slotted the third in the second half to give the side a convincing win.

With this win, what impressed the fans who purchased PSG tickets was the team’s chemistry. Everyone remembers the ugly scenes from the opening weeks of the Ligue 1 involving Mbappe and Neymar, but it is safe to say it is all in the past.

Messi is Back

As Lionel Messi slotted the opener against Maccabi Haifa, it was the 39th different team against which he scored. The numbers from Messi, as of late, only point in one direction – the legend is finally making his way back.

The performances show this with three goals, seven assists, and 22 chances created in 7 Ligue 1 games; he surely is making a comeback. He is seen with a lot of positive body language, something that spectators with PSG tickets failed to see last year. It also feels like he loves his football in Paris, and there is a clear contrast from last season.

It’s also time for football fans to understand and accept that Messi in 2022 isn’t the same that we saw a decade ago. But he’s most certainly playing to a level close to that. His creativity on the field is evident; you saw him creating a magnificent chance out to Kylian Mbappe to score the fastest goal in Ligue 1. The legendary dribbling, acceleration, and energy levels remain the same and are always breathtaking to watch.

A year after the change from the Catalan club, the maestro finally adopted the playing pattern. His fellow national teammates Leandro Paredes and Angel Di Maria left France in the summer, with the duo ending up joining Juventus. Messi needs to be more open with the squad with their departure, and everyone with PSG tickets in the opening games saw he was enjoying this role.

The change in the manager has also helped the 35-year-old be better. It felt like Mauricio Pchettino didn’t get along well with Messi, but with the likes of Christophe Galtier, the system is working. He believes that the system of a back three is a great idea and his positioning in the central position is a great idea.

Earlier last season, Messi was seen in the far corner, which he cannot be doing with his age.

Neymar not happy with Yellow Card

It was going PSG’s way in their Champions League game, and PSG’s striker Neymar wasn’t too happy when he was shown a yellow card for his celebration.

Neymar brought in a late goal to complete the 3-1 win over Maccabi Haifa following the goals from Messi and Mbappe.

Neymar scored late to complete PSG’s 3-1 comeback win at Maccabi Haifa after goals from Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappe had put the French side ahead on the night. Following the goal, Neymar brought out his trademark celebration, putting hands on his head and sticking his tongue out – something that has been with him for the entire season.

However, following this, he was booked by the referee, and he later took to Twitter to justify his decision. He added that it was a total lack of respect for the athlete and that “I take the yellow for simply not having done anything, and I continue to be harmed.”

Neymar wasn’t shy to voice his concerns as his Instagram story read, “Another victory, congratulations, but we move on, right?”

“Next time, I will warn the referees that I am going to do it. Football keeps getting more annoying!”

He was unhappy about the card, but this might be his only worry. Since the start of the season, Neymar has come under the radar of the fans and everyone who came to games purchasing PSG tickets. He was tagged as a loner who doesn’t care about the team and wants personal glory.

The spat with Mbappe in the early games added insult to injury, with the PSG ticket holders chanting anti-Neymar cheers.

But since then, the Brazilian has seen quite the comeback, contributing to 11 goals and ten assists during ten games this season. The combination between Neymar and Messi is undoubtedly working, and they are finding space to accommodate Mbappe to bolster the attack.

Champions League Dream?

It has been an excellent start for PSG in the UEFA Champions League, as fans who purchased the PSG tickets for the opening two games have enjoyed the brand of football they’ve played. Coming up against Juventus, PSG secured a 2-1 win, thanks to a brace from Kylian Mbappe, and then the win against Maccabi Haifa was a walk in the park.

With four more games set to be played in the group stage, it is safe to say that PSG would have an easy way through to the next round. They will, however, be worried about the Super 16 and the Quarterfinals as their expectation this year would be to become champions of Europe and nothing less.

While PSG is rising back to the top with the brand of football they are playing, getting PSG tickets to Le Parc De Princes gets tougher and more challenging. The iconic stadium offers one of the best football experiences, and fans worldwide search for PSG tickets.

While official sources could be nearly impossible to come close to, trusted reseller platforms will be the safe bet. With ample options from trusted sources, PSG fans would have their PSG tickets with two clicks without hassle.
