Premier League and Championship clubs keen on talented National League teen with move expected

Premier League and Championship clubs are reportedly keen on the talented National League teen Kellen Fisher with a move expected.

Brentford and Wolves have both kept a close watch on 18-year-old right back after his impressive performance for Bromley.

And according to The Sun, Championship duo Hull and Swansea are also on high alert for Fisher.

Bromley won 1-0 at Yeovil on Saturday with it reported that up to ten scouts were in attendance watching on.

In February, the rising star signed a three-year contract with the National League side, who are currently chasing a playoff place, sitting ninth in the fifth tier of English football with 55 points from 38 games, seven points from the playoffs.

They are getting set to travel to Maidstone on Tuesday night, who sit bottom of the table with 24 points from 39 games played.

Fisher so far played 19 times in the National League this season.

He has also won Bromley’s Player Of The Month award in January for his strong performances since joining the first team.

It was in their FA Trophy win over Dover that he made his senior debut, while Fisher has also participated in the FA Youth Cup twice.

He also had loan spells with the likes of Welling and Cray Wanderers to further his education before settling down at Hayes Lane.

Interview with Bromley Club Media: Fisher discusses his time at the club’s academy, both in the classroom as well as on the pitch.

He said: “Yeah, obviously I’m enjoying the football part of it but the schooling part of it I enjoyed as well.

“Just being with your mates playing football every day and then the schooling side of it was really enjoyable for me.”

This is what fans said with Premier League and Championship clubs said to be keen on the talented National League teen with a move expected in the near future…

@louis_wwfc: Need to check his ID first

@OfficialF3W: Seen more meat on adamas left ball

@Bazza1983: Hold on, where the fuck is Luke Matheson?

Andrew Miller: Let’s hope he stays for at least one more season but he is destined for a higher level than us

Mark Rendell: The attention is well deserved. Will be hard not to have his head turned by all the interest. Hope we can keep him for another season.

Laith Basmati Rice Al-Ajeel: He is going to do so well in the future. At this point, let’s just get a good a fee as possible for him and one at the very least that smashes our transfer record

Laith Basmati Rice Al-Ajeel: Putting a price on him, I don’t see how we couldn’t at the very least achieve somewhere in the region of a quarter million for him

Paul Wildman: He will at some point play at a higher level, I dont think there is much doubt about that. He’d be best however, to stay with us for another year or so. The NL is far better for his development than a Prem/Championship U23’s campaign IMO.

Ian Pettyfer: Sale and loan back would be the right move for all.

Martin Ramsey: Best outcome would be a sale to a suitable higher level team with a season long loan back to Bromley next season to continue Kellen’s development 👍🏼

James Dodd: Wherever he ends up, I just hope it’s somewhere where he plays regular *senior* football. I think he could genuinely hold down a RB spot regularly at a League One club if someone takes a chance on him. He’s that good IMO. Going to a PL side (however enticing) would be a step back if all it means is he plays for the development/U23s side.

Craig Hughes: Seen him play for Bromley against Torquay a few weeks ago. He’s quick and very direct!

@wrighty1207: Fantastic work Kell. Keep doing what you do and there is a big move coming your way 👏👏

@martintonkin: He has impressed me every time I’ve seen him play.

@mubly: Hope we can hold him for another year, but not optimistic. Given he just signed a new deal, what kind of money could we expect?

@JP__267: Scouted Bromley a few times this season and he’s definitely a talent.

@HenryBFC1: Unreal, not just that, can’t remember one bad performance from this guy he’s unreal 👏👏
