Portsmouth’s Marlon Pack mugs off a taunting Bolton fan over a remark about the ‘promotion party’ after Saturday’s League One clash.
A video has emerged online, with a Bolton fan under the username @MarkLittlemore1 tweeted a video and it’s gone on to get nearly 400,000 views.
The Bolton fan wrote: “If anyone bought tickets for the Pompey promotion party in Bolton tonight, then speak to Aaron Collins for a refund. It will be now be held in a Portsmouth Wetherspoons next Saturday. #bwfc #Pompey @aaroncollinsx @TrotterChatPod @TheFanzonePod”
The video recorder goes over to Marlon Pack, and says to him, “when’s the promotion party, I thought it was tonight”, the Pompey footballer replied “when’s your promotion party”.

The game played out to a 1-1 draw, with Aaron Collins ensuring Portsmouth’s League One title and promotion celebrations remain on ice.
Pompey were heading back to the Championship for the first time in 12 years when Abu Kamara netted a classy 7th minute opener.
But the Trotters have kept boosted their hopes of going up to the second tier without need of the playoffs nine minutes before the break.
Pompey boss John Mousinho said: “I was really displeased with the way we responded to going ahead after such a bright start.
“We were excellent, we got the goal and then we seemed to just go into our shells a little bit – perhaps the occasion got the better of us.
“There were some uncharacteristic decisions, we slashed at clearances and we weren’t tracking runners.
“I thought the Bolton goal was coming, but then we clicked back into gear and were decent again, although needed the break to regroup.
“The second half was a good game of football and we were able to wrestle some control back, creating decent chances on the counter.
“Bolton will probably consider themselves a bit unlucky, but our job – not that we set up that way – was not to lose.
“We know what we need to do now on Tuesday and we’ll make sure to prepare properly. The rewards will certainly be there at the back of our mind.”
Mousinho thought that his side should’ve been awarded a stoppage-time spot-kick for a foul on Kusini Yengi.
He added: “Anyone with eyes on me would know I thought it was a stonewall penalty – those decisions get given anywhere else on the pitch.
“For some reason, there’s this really high threshold against Colby and Kusini, but their player had no interest in the ball.
“We didn’t get the decision and I thought that was strange, but we just have to dust ourselves down and get on with it.”
Bolton’s Ian Evatt said: “Football is a game that can be cruel sometimes and I think the players’ performance today deserved the win,” said the Wanderers’ boss.
“We were punished on a transition from a throw-in to their most dangerous player and made it really difficult for ourselves. But after the first 10 minutes we were dominant and had all the opportunities.
“I can’t be critical of the players. Of course, we needed to win today and wanted to win but the performance was excellent, and we have to focus on that and while there’s still hope you never know.
“It can change quickly in football. There are still points to play for and games to go. We have to win the next one and that lowers the gap and then you never know.
“The atmosphere was electric today. The fans were excellent and the players were excellent but sometimes it doesn’t go your way.
“I think we hit the post twice and had a big chance towards the end. There were some frustrations, but I’m proud of our football club today even though we haven’t done what we needed to do.”
“They are resilient and haven’t lost many this season for that reason and you have to give them credit for that,” Evatt added on Pompey.
“They came under heavy pressure and managed to withstand it, but we created enough to win the game probably should have done.
“There’s no point feeling like we’ve given it away today, or lost what our season stands for today. There’s still so much to play for and that’s the feeling now, that we have to pick everybody up and go again.
“We have to put pressure on by winning on Tuesday. That’s non-negotiable and get the gap back to one point and you never know. They (Derby) then have a tough away game (at Cambridge) and we have a home game and things can change again.
“We have to let this go quickly, even though there’s some disappointment in the changing room. We have to pick the players up, pick the supporters up and keep believing. We’ve seen enough twists and turns in this division to know it’s certainly not over yet, so we go again.”
