“The club will independently investigate, as well as cooperate fully, with any FA or Police investigation. This behaviour will not be tolerated.”
Twitter users gave their thoughts on police called after a fight breaks out in the stands of an under 10s match at Boldmere St Michaels…
@EvertonDee80: State of that. Scumdogs 🤬
@any_spare: I wouldn’t want my grandkids seeing this, what type of example would you be setting for your children. 👍
@Pandamonium1881: Absolutely shocking and disgusting. The parents should be utterly ashamed
@gingerb71214461: Great example to kids. Check out the boy in red, number 9, he’s desperate to get up there and involved. He’s told to go, keeps returning and pushes off adults. He needs to be excluded a couple of matches for behaviour.
@JonnyGaffer123: I was so glad to have lovely parents when I ran a kids team, plus great kids. I watch games now thinking thank God I’m not Involved anymore.
@CariadFfisio: Parents are bad these days. Heard a local game by me you’d swear it was a champions league game the way they cheered
@sparx83: In all fairness FairPlay to the coaches trying to get the kids off the pitch
@osbor4859: U10 kids football 🙈
@andycparsons: The sooner parents are banned the better.
@shane_robshaw: Ban the lot 🤬🤬🤬
@minervasupreme: Everything that is wrong with grassroots football in one video. Unfortunately, that sort of thing is happening more than often.
@beeeley: Totally agree , an embarrassment to any youth football
@58yearsofhurt: The grandmother has fearsome right-hook tbf!
@Lizardman_Allan: Total embarrassment , pathetic
@Dazevans82: Unfortunately I’ve witnessed very similar to this before with Boldmere on several occasions over the last 2 to 3 years….. Coaches and Parents 🤷🏼♂️ Must be so proud of themselves behaving like that infront of, not only their own, but other people’s kids 😡
@LBoylan10: This sums up a good percentage of parents at youth football .. let the kids enjoy playing without them having to live your failed childhood dreams… football is meant to be fun #getagrip #footballforall
@SJMoore1: Disgrace! Sadly I’m not surprised
@MidlandFootyfan: Absolutely shocking, parents making it about themselves
@CraskeChris: Seriously! The FA must do something about this.
@DBLionsAVFC: Really sad to see this type of behaviour particularly in grassroots football.
@andywest4343: I was at a similar event where the vitriol in the stands spilled over to the pitch and one of the players was tragically killed in an u15’s game. My son has never been the same as have a lot of his teammates. This type of behaviour is never acceptable or without consequences.
@oldcarlover24: Jesus, I’ve seen it all now. All should be banned from any sort of football for life
@ClubMaltShovel: Worst thing about kids football….. parents !!
@psad2: Setting a great example for their kids. Fucking scum.
@gtfc1967: This is unbelievable parental behaviour. Imagine those poor kids who are actually getting out and enjoying sport, not stuck in playing on I pad being subjected to the moronic behaviour of their so-called adults. Great example you complete fuck wits.
@kevinrandall17: What chance do these kids have? 🙄
@Andy_J_Davies: Should be utterly ashamed of themselves, unfortunately they probably won’t be!
@biiigchris: Parents at kids football games are fucking embarrassing
@vkon1: Disgrace. And a reason why I refused to referee kids games. Parents are assholes.
@Stezza_Dozza: Kids football is a vile, vile world.
@craig_pankhurst: And this is one of the reasons some kids are behaving with complete disregard to society. This is the example being set by their parents. Embarrassing.
@tamz03748733: I don’t agree with this one bit but being involved in grassroots football certainly things happen like a lot of cheating and it’s mad frustrating but it is not acceptable to do this. Awful from parents poor example. At same time I’m unaware of what is actually going on there
@BSturgess8: Unfortunately some of the things I’ve seen involved in grassroots and academy based football over the years this won’t be the last time this is seen. The kids look terrified 🤯
@grumps25: Beggars belief during kids football that ‘adults’ carry on like that! Another reason why I can’t stand the grassroots game!
@OneRedRam: What a disgrace, hope @BrumPolice take note and action
@wba007: Poor poor kids watching this, the adults should hang their heads in shame 😔 @thegoalzone
