How Watford‘s proposed new stadium could look like? Pictures have emerged with the club, not ruling out the possibility of moving from Vicarage Road.
The Premier League side are said to be committed to looking at ways of growing, including the possibility of expanding the stadium.
Watford are exploring the option of building a new stadium to the east of the town in Bushey (1.5 miles from Vicarage Road). The capacity would be close to 30,000.

The Athletic and Watford Observer released photos, as seen above, of the site at Bushey Hall Golf Club (half a mile further from Watford Junction Station than their current home), showing the Hornets’ new home potential new home if developed.
Populous, the designers responsible for Tottenham’s £1billion arena, are exploring the possibility of a brand new stadium, which would likely hold up to 30,000 people.
Despite all of this, Watford are expected to not make an official comment until the club’s Premier League status is confirmed.
Since coming into the club back in 2012, the Pozzo family had gradually developed the stadium by building the Elton John Stand and continuing to enhance the facilities.
The club also recently submitted plans to their local council to add 537 seats at Vicarage Road in the corner between the Sir Elton John Stand and the Rookery End.
After seeing a photo of how Watford’s proposed new stadium could look like, fans took to give their reaction…

Imho, it all depends on the costs and whether our fan base & income is there to justify it. Our ground today looks good & it would be cheaper to add another tier on the Elton John stand. But, the images look amazing!

So after years of culturally cleansing the fan base to middle class families and business people in the stadium, they now want to rip the heart and sole out the club. ? Modern football decisions are nothing to do with fans anymore
