Photo of Grimsby player celebrating in dressing room with penis out goes viral

A photo of a Grimsby player celebrating in the dressing room with his penis out goes viral on social media after beating Solihull.

The Mariners players partied at the London Stadium having won promotion back to League Two at the first time of asking, but it had to go to extra time to be settled, see more on that HERE.

It seems the occasion after the final whistle got rather cheeky with one Grimsby footballer’s shorts and underwear down his ankles as he and his squad members jumped up and down.

The tweet has since gone viral, getting over 11,000 likes since it was uploaded to Twitter on the 5th of June.

Tuesday was the day the players and staff could celebrate in Grimsby town centre and boy did they had a great time.

Gavan Holohan, 30, is loving life with the club so much that he said he is ‘more than happy’ to see through his contract there.

He said, as per a report by Grimsby Live: “I am more than happy to see through my contract with this club. I’ve loved playing here, and we’re back in the Football League, where I feel this club belongs.

“We’ll have a break now and hopefully hit the ground running in League Two next season!”

He added: “Paul (Hurst) is a different class; He’s a calm head and never gets too high or too low, which we have needed during this run.”

He got with Grimsby fans and sang a cheeky chant during the trophy parade, singing: “Gavan Holohan, he’s got a big knob”

Mayor of North East Lincolnshire Council, Cllr Stephen Beasant said: “What the club has achieved this season is fantastic it is. The team’s performance in the play-offs has been inspirational, coming from behind each time with extra-time goals sealing their wins.

“The atmosphere from those games is spilling over into the borough and the whole town is buzzing with what they’ve achieved and what’s to come next season.”

Debbie Cook, Grimsby Town Football Club Chief Executive said: “We are absolutely thrilled with our promotion. We can’t underestimate what the Club’s promotion back into the Football league means to the people of this Town and Mariners fans everywhere. It’s wonderful to be able to celebrate this success with them in this way.  Our supporters, this community, have been incredible, and we want to celebrate that and thank the whole Town.”
