Oldham Athletic have this afternoon confirmed the appointment of Laurent Banide as their new Head Coach on a one-year-deal.
Banide was most recently in charge at Umm Salal SC in Qatar, before leaving them in 2018. The other teams he;s managed were Al-Kuwait, Al-Dhafra, Al-Nasr, Monaco, Monoco Youth, Al-Kharitiyath, Al-Wasl, Al-Orobah
He also had a playing career, making appearances for Monaco, Marseille and Strasbourg and then went into coaching also with Monaco.
It seems he has had 15 jobs in 14 years, and with how many managers are coming through and out the doors at Boundary Park, we wouldn’t be surprised if he won’t be in charge for too long.
