It has been reported that Chris Wilder could leave Sheffield United just months since being promoted from the Championship to the Premier League.
Wilder’s stay at his boyhood club is allegedly under threat, it is all depending on the outcome in the club’s ownership case with co-owner Prince Abdullah and who should take over the Blades.
Barrister Paul Downes QC, representing Kevin McCabe’s SUL group in the current High Court case, made the claims.
The Sheffield Star quoted: “Mr Chris Wilder is emotionally attached to Sheffield United and feels a great deal of love and loyalty to Kevin McCabe personally.
“Kevin McCabe has been attacked personally in this case and he is not going to stay, is he, if Prince Abdullah wins?”

The news could interest Both West Bromwich Albion and Middlesbrough as they have been credited with interest in the Sheffield United manager.
Though the case is due to finish in two weeks and it’s unlikely these clubs will want to wait much longer than that.
Jonathan Woodgate is 4/11 to become the new Boro boss and Slaven Bilic is 2/5 for the Baggies job.
After learning that manager Chris Wilder could leave Sheffield United depending on the outcome of the club’s ownership case, fans took to give their reaction, some saying it won’t happen, others with something different to say – check out those tweets on the next page.
