The club will also continue to play at Haywood Way, two miles away from the town centre and train station…

Aylesbury wrote on their website:

“We have put together a strategy for success both on and off the pitch. The club has put together an enthusiastic, strong, experienced management team to ensure long term financial stability and create a great platform for sustained success. The Youth section of the club has been running for over fifty years and the aim is to produce local players that will play for our reserves and senior sides as they progress. The clubs main objective is to create a football club for the town to be proud of.

“In the 2019/2020 season, we will have a total of 28 teams playing in a number of local Leagues. Our Men’s first team are semi-professional and will play in the Spartan South Midlands Premier Division with the Reserve team in Division 3. We will have two teams playing in the Aylesbury & District League, we also hope to have a Women’s team playing in the Thames Valley Counties Women’s Football League and our U18s will play in a mid week floodlit league. Our Youth Football and Mini Soccer teams all play in Wycombe & South Bucks Minor Football League and the South Bucks Mini Soccer Conference.

“All of this was Danny Martone’s dream when he got involved with the club in the 2000/2001 season, to have a club based on the youth of Aylesbury having a pathway from junior football to playing in the club’s senior sides at the highest possible level and this is what we are about to achieve.

“We have new branding which will be fully revealed shortly. The club will play in yellow and blue with red and black being our changed kit and there are major changes that will happen over the summer, to both the clubhouse and ground which will make it a much more pleasant experience for football fans and social members of the club to watch games and just enjoy spending time at Haywood Way.”

After learning of the new details on the crest, kit colours and name, fans took to social media to give their views on it all. The club are also asking for donations to improve their clubhouse – find out how to donate plus all that fan reaction on those details on the next page.
