Non league side Blyth Spartans make a rather hilarious transfer bid for Cristiano Ronaldo after his bombshell interview on Sunday.
Ronaldo’s time at the Premier League giants seemingly looks to have come to an end sooner rather than later as the club terminate the 37-year-old’s contract.
Clips of Ronaldo’s sit-down conversation with Piers Morgan were published on Sunday evening and saw him take aim at Manchester United, Erik ten Hag, Ralf Rangnick, Gary Neville and others.
“I feel betrayed.”

Manchester United released a statement acknowledging Ronaldo’s interview on Monday afternoon and said they would ‘consider’ their response after the ‘full facts had been established’.
National League North side Blyth Spartans however couldn’t help but jump on Twitter after the statement was released to mock the situation regarding Ronaldo.
They wrote: ‘Hi Manchester United. We hear Cristiano Ronaldo is looking for a move? We’ll take him off your hands for a shy’s pie and a pint of Stella!’.
This came shortly after Talk TV released a series of clips featuring Ronaldo and Morgan. The 37-year-old accused Ten Hag and the Man Utd executives of trying to force him out of the club.
He also took issue with his former Manchester United team-mates Wayne Rooney and Gary Neville during the bombshell interview.

United could have the grounds to terminate Ronaldo’s contract following the explosive interview, which is to be released in full Wednesday and Thursday.
Litigation and Sports Lawyer David Seligman took to Twitter to say his contract could be ripped up due to a ‘material breach of the implied duty of trust and confidence’.
CR7 could be dismissed as United (the employer) have lost confidence in Ronaldo (the employee) to such an extent that is not feasible for him to return to work.
Therefore, Ronaldo will be keen to look for another top-flight club to join after ending his love affair with Manchester United in dramatic fashion.
However, Ronaldo may struggle to move on from the club as he could end up staying registered to his current side for 30 days despite his contract being potentially terminated.
Seligman wrote: ‘#FIFA rules/jurisprudence on player registrations are not all that simple. #MUFC could terminate contact but retain registration for purposes of compensation, if termination caused by #Ronaldo conduct. #CR7 legal position very interesting now.’
Meanwhile, FIFA’s rules state: ‘Professionals who end their careers upon expiry of their contracts and amateurs who terminate their activity shall remain registered at the association of their last club for a period of 30 months. This period begins on the day the player made his last appearance for the club in an official match.’
You could ay Blyth have taken inspiration for their tweet after another non league side in Ashton United did something similar.
The upcoming winter World Cup in Qatar has presented a number of problems to top-level teams this season.
But, now the tournament is about to begin and the Premier League has started its six-week break, clubs face the task of keeping their players whose nations didn’t qualify – or weren’t selected by their countries – match fit for the return of top-flight football on the 26th of December.
Some will be flying abroad for some warm weather training while others are planning some friendlies.
Northern Premier League Premier Division side Ashton United came up with a solution.
They submitted a cheeky loan bid for Manchester City striker Erling Haaland, who has scored 23 goals in all competitions for City since joining from Borussia Dortmund in the summer.
He won’t be featuring in Qatar after Norway failed to qualify, so Ashton have asked if they could have him on a 28-day loan deal.

“We’re in the hunt for a striker so we thought why not,” boss Michael Clegg told BBC Radio 5 Live. “It’s been hard for any of the teams in our league to get any momentum so I’m sure slotting the big man in would only help us climb the table. I’m sure he’d hit the ground running and I’d be hoping for a minimum of six goals a half from him.
“My mate is the kitman at City so I’ve been asking him who else we could maybe take from them.”
Clegg added: “I think we’d have four or maybe five games while he’d be here and he could even come on our Christmas do in Newcastle.”
