Fans gave their reaction to the transfer rumour with some pleading him to go to their club…
Dwight Gayle…. There’s no “if it comes to nothing” Get him in Slavan!!

We're sitting pretty at the moment but the Championship is a brutal league and a few knocks to players or a run of bad form can completely derail a season, we can't get complacent now if we wanna lift silverware, we have to recruit well in Jan and this would be a fantastic start

@dwightgayle come home we need you, you’re the dream striker for this team x

Don’t want him.
Haven’t forgiven that dive from last season

I wouldnt change anything. But having a striker of his ilk in reserve would give us options.

Would be fantastic addition. System change to accommodate 1 player is crazy, but off the bench Gayle would be huge addition. Plus there’s inevitable injury and fatigue risk to Grabban so makes sense
If it’s possible that is #Nffc

@mistydusty: @dwightgayle really hoping you come back to @WBA in January. We love ya
@paperhighways: The Albion simply MUST dial that G in January. There is no excuse. Everything about @dwightgayle is a class act. Never seen a loan player buy into a club so wholeheartedly, on and off the pitch. GET IT DONE!
@LeedsUtdRyan: Would love Leeds to sign Dwight Gayle in January.. Anything can happen in football.. #lufc #mot
@Rich_Price_: Don’t forget to dial G ☎️ in January @WBA You know who we want back at the Hawthorns .. bring @dwightgayle home. #wba #gayle
@kierandoody: The missing piece for #WBA in my opinion, comfortable league winners if Gayle was to return.
