Newcastle United will ‘listen to offers’ for Nottingham Forest and West Bromwich Albion target Dwight Gayle in January according to Chronicle Live.
Gayle was in top form for the last campaign whilst on loan at the Baggies, finding the net 23 goals in 39 appearances to help guide the club to the Championship playoffs, however they lost to Aston Villa.
The 29-year-old returned to Newcastle, but has has been unable to play much after picking up a calf injury at the beginning of the season.
More recently, he’s made made substitute cameos, but Andy Carroll and Joelinton pip him to the post in terms of Steve Bruce picking the starting lineup.
Because of that, the Magpies are said to be open at the player leaving as long as they are able to get a replacement for him.

Forest, West Brom, Fulham, Norwich and Middlesbrough were linked with Gayle in the summer but nothing came to fruition.
Sabri Lamouchi’s side currently sit 5th in the Championship table following a good start to the campaign, but with the teams around them scoring many more goals than themselves, they really could benefit in having the Newcastle player.
You could it is no surprise that West Brom are top of the Championship with Slaven Bilić as their manager.
They are second highest scorers in the division, but most of their goals have come from wingers and Matheus Pereira with their strikers failing to find the net regularly.
Fans gave their reaction to the transfer rumour with some pleading him to go to their club – read them tweets on the next page.
