New National League title sponsor ‘revealed’ as Vanarama get set for farewell in 2026

The new National League title sponsor has been ‘revealed’, as current sponsors Vanarama get set for to say farewell in 2026.

The Non League Paper report that Enterprise Rent-A-Car is set to be unveiled, marking a significant partnership for the fifth and sixth tiers of professional football.

The announcement is expected to be announced in a statement by the company and league later next week.

Enterprise Rent-A-Car has a history of sports sponsorships, including partnerships with the NHL, UEFA Europa League, and NCAA, but this move into English football’s National League is a new venture.

The NLP also say the National League Cup is to continue, despite low attendances and backlash from fans in it’s debut season.

On the 23rd of May, The National League announced that the 2025/26 season will be the last with our long-term title sponsors Vanarama.

“We have been incredibly honoured to work with Vanarama since 2014, making this the second longest running sponsorship in the League’s illustrious history.

“During that time, the National League has enjoyed unprecedented success. There are more eyes on this level of football than ever before – with both attendance at games or watching on NLTV via DAZN – which is a fitting tribute to the quality of the product on display up and down the country every weekend.

“One hundred and twenty-five teams have competed across the three National League divisions during Vanarama’s sponsorship, with almost 40,000 goals scored and more than 19 million supporters clicking through the turnstiles.

“Highlights working with Vanarama include the Manarama campaign, raising almost £200,000 in vital funds in the fight against prostate cancer, the sponsoring of Lincoln City’s shirts during their historic run to the FA Cup quarter finals in 2017 and the many unforgettable Wembley Promotion Finals.

“The 2024/25 season – and Vanarama’s sponsorship – is not quite over yet – we still have a mouthwatering Promotion Final to come at Wembley on Sunday 1 June.

“On behalf of everyone at the National League, all our clubs who have played under the Vanarama National League name, and the fans who have made The Vanarama what it is, we would like to say a huge thankyou to Vanarama for their support during the last 11 years.”

A Vanarama spokesperson said: “It has been a tremendous privilege to serve as title sponsors of the Vanarama National League for the last 11 years. During that time, we have seen many great teams, players and managers grace these divisions and it has been an honour to be part of it.

“Our thanks go to Chairman Jack Pearce, COO Michaela Garrard, their staff and predecessors for their support during this sponsorship, the length of which is testament to the close relationship between the two parties throughout.”
