New footage emerges of trouble involving fans, police and stewards at Saturday afternoon’s League One game Ipswich v Barnsley.
A number of issues took place not just inside the stands of Portman Road but around the ground and in the town too.
There have been reports of fans being ejected from the stadium, fights breaking out between the two near the train station and supporters clashing with police as seen in the video below…

The game itself also saw some controversial moments, playing out to a 2-2 draw leaving Ipswich 2nd and Barnsley 16th.
Ipswich settled for a 2-2 draw against their tenacious opponents which resulted in the Tractor Boys lose top spot to Portsmouth on goals scored.
A stunning free-kick from 25 yards by Ipswich’s Conor Chaplin was cancelled out by Jack Aitchison’s header but Sam Morsy got the home side back in front only for Callum Styles to deny the hosts all three points.
Chaplin broke the deadlock in the 27th minute when he rifled the ball past a helpless Brad Collins after Wes Burns was fouled by Luca Connell.
Then Barnsley hit back six minutes later when Aitchison headed home following a cross from Connell.
Ipswich regained the lead in the 70th minute when Morsy’s late run into the penalty area led to him latching onto a pinpoint cross from Burns.
Marcus Harness scored, placing the ball in the back of the net moments later but he was adjudged to have fouled Mads Andersen. A decision that went down very badly.
Barnsley then got one back again in the 75th minute when Styles headed home from a Connell corner.
Luke Woolfenden’s header struck the post while Collins had to dive full length to keep out Kane Vincent-Young’s diving header in the closing stages.

@Suffolk821: It got worse up the road, as a few more Ipswich turned up. I decided to have another couple of pints and let it all blow over. BTW Ipswich and Barnsley fans were superb towards each other. Shame it ended like this with a small minority.
