National League club put SIX past Premier League side after being 2-0 down

Now pre-season can produce some really bizarre scorelines, and that was the came last night when Barnet put six past Crystal Palace.

The National League side found themselves two down after 10 minutes when David Boateng and Connor Wickham found the net.

However after some top saves from Bees keeper Scott Loach and a couple of chances missed from Roy Hodgson’s side, Mohamed Bettamer got the hosts back in the game.

Then Jack Barham found Barnet’s equaliser with four minutes left of the first half.

Minutes after the restart, David Tutonda smashed across goal to put the non league side ahead before finding his second and doubling Barnet’s lead.

It continued to be a dismal second half for the Premier League opposition when Simeon Akinola then made it 5-2 after 69 minutes at the Hive Stadium.

Barnet managed to get their sixth towards injury times, this time a trialist getting on the scoresheet to give Crystal Palace a shock.
