Website FootballPredictions.NET have given their predictions for all of this weekend’s opening day National League fixtures.
They give their forecast on scores from a huge amount of leagues and back it up with ‘fresh statistical analysis’.
Their Twitter has been followed by over 11,500 people and usually announce them three days ahead of match day.
Each match on their site also have a preview video along with the stats and facts such as Head To Head, Form, League Position, Average Goals Scored/Conceded and plenty more. See what they went with below and on the next few pages…
WREXHAM v BOREHAM WOOD
FootballPredictions.NET states: We’re inclined to think that Boreham Wood should be able to breach the defence of this Wrexham lineup, although it probably shouldn’t be as many as they will have scored against them.
We think that it’s going to be a close game with a 2-1 advantage for Wrexham after the 90. Hopefully this is a good one.
WOKING v SOLIHULL
FootballPredictions.NET states: We believe that Solihull Moors and Woking are probably both going to find scoring goals difficult here.
There should be little in it, and a draw looks quite a realistic result. That’s why we have predicted a very even match with a 0-0 draw at the end of the 90.
WEALDSTONE v CHESTERFIELD
The score FootballPredictions.NET has predicted for this game is: 1-1
TORQUAY v STOCKPORT
FootballPredictions.NET states: We’re of the opinion that Stockport County and Torquay United could well cancel each other out, with goals at a real premium.
With that in mind, we reckon that it will be a 0-0 scoreline at the end of this game.
SUTTON v MAIDENHEAD
FootballPredictions.NET states: Our feeling is that Maidenhead United have the ability to score a goal against this Sutton United side, but that possibly won’t quite prevent them from conceding a couple at the other end.
We’re predicting a 2-1 winning margin for Sutton United at the end of this one. It should be a decent one.
HARTLEPOOL v ALDERSHOT
FootballPredictions.NET states: In this match, Hartlepool United have it within them to get the win and a possible clean sheet against Aldershot Town, who might well find it difficult to score themselves.
We therefore think that it’s going to be a comfortable 2-0 winning score for Hartlepool United after 90 minutes.
HALIFAX v DAG & RED
FootballPredictions.NET states: Our feeling is that Dagenham & Redbridge could well find it tough to see themselves scoring against this Halifax lineup who we think should win and very possibly keep a clean sheet.
Our tip is therefore for a narrow 1-0 win for Halifax when the referee blows for full-time.
DOVER v NOTTS COUNTY
FootballPredictions.NET states: Dover Athletic may well find it hard to break down this Notts County lineup who we reckon should be able to get on the scoresheet themselves in a winning performance.
We’re therefore anticipating a good tussle with a 0-1 advantage for Notts County at the end of this one. Let’s see how it plays out.
We continue our look at what FootballPredictions.NET has predicted for the National League…
BARNET v EASTLEIGH
FootballPredictions.NET states: We feel that in this game, Eastleigh should have enough to score against this Barnet lineup, although that may not be as many as they’ll concede.
We’re tipping both teams to score in a 2-1 winning score for Barnet after the 90. Expecting it to be very competitive.
ALTRINCHAM v WEYMOUTH
FootballPredictions.NET states: In this match, Weymouth have enough to score against this Altrincham team, but that isn’t expected to be enough to prevent defeat.
We’re tipping a tight encounter finishing with a 2-1 victory for Altrincham at the end of the match. We’ll have to see what happens.
KING’S LYNN v YEOVIL
The score FootballPredictions.NET has predicted for this game is: 0-1
