Most expensive and cheapest season tickets in the Premier League for 2023/24

In this article, we take a look at the most expensive and cheapest season tickets in the Premier League for the 2023/24 season.

We all know football without fans is nothing. And that is worth keeping in mind looking through this article. During the COVID pandemic, most matches were played behind closed door for 18 months and in that time, stadiums felt that something was missing, namely the passion and noise of the fans.

The Athletic published an article that shows how much clubs value their fans in the form of season ticket prices.

Families and businesses have been struggling to cope with the rising cost of living in the last few years and football clubs are feeling it too, with majority forced to pay more for catering due to inflation.

Top flight sides have increased the prices of season tickets for the next season 2023/24 with some raising their prices so much so that it is putting pressure on the household budgets of those affected by inflation and the cost of living crisis.

The Athletic found that a trio of clubs, including Chelsea, Tottenham and Brentford, have frozen their season ticket prices.

Chelsea and Tottenham decided to not increase their prices, as they both had disappointing campaigns the last time around and wanted to reward their loyal fans for their support.

Fulham supporters are the hardest hit due to the club increasing the price of season tickets for the upcoming season, a staggering £3,000 in the rebuilt Riverside Stand. The price of a junior seat will be £2,500 in the same row.

Six other clubs charge over £1,000 for adults to watch all 19 Premier League games at home, including Arsenal, Tottenham, Man City, Man Utd, Newcastle and West Ham. The latter two offer a free program and padded seats.

The three teams with the lowest priced season tickets are newly promoted sides Burnley, Luton Town and Sheffield United.

Both Championship winners Burnley, and playoff winners Luton charge £500 per adult season ticket. Sheffield United will play Premier League football in 2021 for the first time. They charge adult fans £528.50 per season ticket. This is a little more than the two newly promoted teams.

Brentford’s season tickets for 2023/24 will remain at £549.
