Mansfield Town have recently revealed that they will knock down one of their stands, if they win promotion from League Two to League One.
That is the Bishop Street Stand which is currently closed with advertising boards covering it, so no spectator can sit inside it due to safety concerns as can be seen below.

Chairman John Radford said, as quoted by Mansfield Chad: “The plans stay the same. We’ve said there is no point in developing Bishop Street until we actually get the numbers in the stands that require us to develop it.
“We need average attendances above the 5,000 mark – but we are getting close.
He adds that they would have done it as early as the season just gone, where they finished 4th in the League Two table, missing automatic promotion to Milton Keynes Dons on the final day before getting knocked out of the playoff semi finals to Newport County.
“If we’d gone up to League One we would have been developing it straight away.
“But there’s no point in us having a half-empty stadium.
“Our ambition – and our resources – at the moment are being put into getting promotion.
“Then, once we’ve been promoted, the stand will be done and the new hotel will be done.
“The hotel might start a little bit earlier, but we are certainly going to wait until we are in League One for the stand.”
