Luton Town fans boo and tell under-pressure Rob Edwards to sort it out after defeat to Sheffield United on Saturday afternoon.
22 year old Jesurun Rak-Sakyi scored twice on his birthday as the unbeaten Blades sealed a comfortable 2-0 victory over the struggling Hatters.
It took 12 minutes for the hosts to go in front, Anel Ahmedhodžić played a ball over to Jesurun Rak-Sakyi in the area, who took a touch and finished past Kaminski.
Then less than 10 minutes into the second half, the Rak-Sakyi skipped past his man in the area and finished low to make it 2-0.
The Blades continues their incredible run to become the only team to remain unbeaten in the Championship this season.
Luton however remain just one place above the relegation zone in 21st, 8 points from 9 games going into the international break.

RE: “It’s on me, I’ve got to fix it. They (fans) were amazing and I thank them. I know they’re frustrated but I said this the other day, it’s on me and we’ve got to try and improve. I’m not trying to hide from it, I’ll go and say thankyou and apologise.” 1/2. pic.twitter.com/zcmhV62jRa

Luton’s Rob Edwards, per Sky Sports: “You can lose here at the moment with the form that they’re in and the form that we’re in but there’s a way to do it.
“This is on me and I’ve got to fix it. We’ll work hard and try and support the players on the training pitch to make sure we can fix the areas we’re not doing so well in at the moment.
“We changed things as we wanted to give ourselves more solidity but the two goals we conceded which have ultimately cost us the game were really disappointing.
“In this job you’re damned if you do and you’re damned if you don’t. I got asked why I didn’t change things, we do change it, it doesn’t work, it’s difficult at the moment.”
Sheffield United’s Chris Wilder said: “It’s been a good win for us today, we played well. We kept doing the right things and wore them into submission and I’m delighted with the performance and the result.
“We worked really hard to get Jesurun (Rak-Sakyi) in this summer so I’d like to thank the board for letting me push on that one. He was at his very best today and we want to see more of that.
“The confidence that will give him and the belief, we understand that’s what forward players are there to do but we’re there as a team to win games of football. We’re on a nice little run at the moment.
“You go on that nonsense social media and bits and pieces and ‘nobody’s done this’ or ‘nobody’s done that’, ‘where are we going to get the goals from?’ and all stuff like that. The young boys are finding their way, we have new players finding their way in a new system.
“There’s a lot of big tests coming up, it’s going to be a big month for us.”
“I asked for support and noise and we got it.” ❤️ pic.twitter.com/XLPH0iLa4l

Twitter users gave their reaction as Luton fans boo and tell under-pressure Rob Edwards to sort it out after Sheffield United defeat…
@Sufc__Freddie: Only noise they made all game, worst fans I’ve seen in ages sat down all game ffs 🤣🤣
@RHDmusic: Act all hard and big then their chant is “edwards sort it out” ahahahaha grow a pair and tell him he’s shit
@CjgMng:
Big fan of this, especially “Edwards sort it out”
Sort of just angry sat on the fence levels of anger.
@andymorton81: Embarrassing. Overachieved for a couple of years and now getting Billy Big Bollocks about a poor start. Jeez.
@DemBlades1889: I don’t mind Luton as a club, but their fans have been getting a bit too big for their boots lately. They need to remember where they came from.
@DavidRook91: Think Luton fans need to remember whilst the prem season was a dream, it was over achieved and they will always be a small team even in the championship 🤷♂️
@ValleyFloydFred: At least he had the bollocks to front up to the away fans and say sorry.
@ltfc_jt: replies to this are mental
– 17 losses in our last 26
– six wins in 2024
– been promised ‘exciting and attacking football’ with ‘an aim of automatic promotion’ and we’re sat one point above the relegation zone
– haven’t played well in one game.
why can’t we be annoyed?
@ActualOllieKay: The claps are getting fewer and fewer each week.
@bltfcc: So fucking cringe “Edward’s, sort it out” 😭😭?!!
@ltfcocr__: replies to this are embarrassing. we should just accept us being shit because we’ve “overachieved”? are we forgetting we’ve just come down, are on parachute payments and have a squad that should be doing miles better than it is?
@ConnorLTFC: The casual reaction to this post confuses me. We should just accept awful football, relegation form, just because we’ve been overachieving for a few years? We’re hugely grateful to the board & RE for what they achieved but we’ve been on a sharp decline for the last 10 months, With no sign of things improving any time soon, and if fans are concerned and unhappy with factors both on and off the pitch then I think they’re entitled to express those concerns. We’re loyal fans, we love the club, and we can see that things just aren’t working right now. Certain expectations and levels of ambition change for clubs when higher (or lower) achievements are reached and I don’t think it’s entitlement for us to want to maintain that level of ambition for the club that we know we’re capable of. We aren’t a League 1 club anymore.
@AshPFC4: a team that massively overachieved, full of bang average championship players and they’re moaning about a relegation scrap. self entitlement at its finest.
@GeorgePuddle: People like to moan about the Premier League losing touch but in Luton and Burnley you’re seeing the horrible knock-on effects of our moments in the sun. Both fanbases showing a spoilt, self-entitled streak that is rather embarrassing. Should never forget where you’ve come from.
Not worth the steam off Rob Edwards piss this lot. Your Luton ffs! I have more people at my BBQs than you have season ticket holders. Get in the bin 🗑 https://t.co/6wxHibdgt5
