Luton Town have been left rather baffled as manager Rob Edwards becomes a ‘sex symbol’ over his gone viral post-match interview.
It has over 14 million views and counting as he somewhat becomes as online sensation despite the 2 minute clip of him talking about the FA Cup win against League One Bolton.
The 41 year old seems to have left an impression with mostly females using the term ‘Face card’, something which is social media slang used to describe someone who is so good looking, that their face will get them anything they want.
At the time of writing, the interview has had 14 million views, 5,600 likes, 3,900 retweets and 169 comments.

Many users begged Edwards to get out of the relegation zone, one saying: “Get this man out of the relegation zone immediately… a face like that doesn’t deserve this”.
Another added: ‘Make him England manager walahi the face card will win us trophies.’
Others said the following…
“Where can I get Luton tickets?”
“I hope Luton win the World Cup”
“The type of man you save before your kids in a fire.”
“Rob Edwards I am free on Thursday night”
“This is the type of man where when you’re with your babes and he’s watching football, you have to ask ‘who’s that’.”
“This is the type of man that men and women alike will write a decades worth of poetry about.”
“Rob Edwards I was not familiar with your game”
“So beautiful I don’t even know what to say.”
“Omg?? I never knew he was this fine up close.”
“Ooooo I need him SO BAD.”
We have no idea what happened 😂

ROB’S INTERVIEW
Interviewer: Rob into the Fourth Round of the Emirates FA cup. How happy were you with the result?
Edwards: Very happy with the result. What are you saying by how happy with the result? You think I’m not happy with the performance?
Interviewer: No, no, you should be happy with it.
Edwards: Well, elements of it I wasn’t happy with. Elements of the performance I was very happy with. I thought really, really pleased to come back from one nil down. Thought we showed lots of good stuff in the first half and could have scored more goals, could have been more ruthless. We’re a little bit open on transition. They have a good plan when we’re pressing to miss the press. And they were good, their plan was good and they were difficult to play against. And then I thought we got a bit sloppy. I thought it was too many times. We just maybe took an extra touch that we wouldn’t normally do, if I’m being really honest. And we did tonight and just took one or two liberties that you can’t do against a good team. They’re used to winning. Look, overall, tonight was cup football. It was about winning and that’s what I challenged the players to do before the game. So I can’t criticise them. I would never come out here and criticise them anyway. But I just know there’s areas we could be better in and they’ll know that themselves as well tonight.
Interviewer: Is that a learning curve, then, in terms of keeping that standard?
Edwards: Yeah, we can never drop them. I think in the two games we have, at times I think that it’s not a conscious thing, it’s just not. But we’re at full tilt in every Premier League game. We know we have to be. And whether we just lost a bit of an edge in these two games don’t know. But look, the players have found a way, so we’ve got to credit them as well. Tonight was about winning and there’s always upsets. I think there’s been one tonight as well and could easily have been cold nights snowing at their place. They go 1-0 up in the end. We’ve got over the line and we’ve all got to be very pleased with that.
Interviewer: And we’ll have Palace or Everton away in the next round. You’ll be keeping an eye on that one tomorrow?
Edwards: Yeah, definitely looking forward to it. And look, it’s good. I think it’s the know. We know we have to be at it at full tilt as well against whoever we play. It’ll be a really tough game for us, but we look forward to it.
Interviewer: And we’re off to Dubai tomorrow as well. Bit of warm weather, train during the winter. How important is that?
Edwards: Look, it’s great. We’re really lucky. We’re privileged that we’re able to do that. That doesn’t escape me. I think it’s good for us to get a bit of time together, a few days to relax. It is a winter break. We got to try and use that time to refresh. There’s a few out there today that needed it. A few 45 minutes, a few that were just a little bit leggy because they’ve been involved in a really difficult game on Friday night. But it’ll be good for us and we’ll come back refreshed and looking forward to the Fourth Round.
