Leeds United player Luke Ayling goes viral across various social media sites as unreal footage emerges of him swearing at a boxer.

The Premier League defender is a popular fella with the Elland Road faithful, and won even more praise during the boxing match between Josh Warrington and Mauricio Lara.

Ayling was in attendance for the fight between Warrington and Lara on Saturday night and it was expected to be a very entertaining fight, and the player backing Warrington.

The 30-year-old boxer is from Leeds and is a big fan of the Whites, talking about them on plenty of occasions to the media.

Ayling, who joined Leeds from Bristol City back in 2016, was in attendance at the boxing supporting Warrington, however was disappointed after the match ended in a technical draw.

Mexican boxer Mauricio Lara suffered a huge cut above his left eye following a clash of heads in the second round.

The match had started great, and it was a disappointment for the fighters as well as those watching on as a spectator for it to have ended this way.

The frustration was seen from Ayling, making it clear what he thought of Warrington’s opponent.

Meanwhile, Leeds fan Josh Warrington recently admitted he’s excited to see how Daniel James develops under Marcelo Bielsa at Elland Road.

“You know what, it’s exciting,” the 30-year-old fighter said.

“I think it could be a good partnership with him and Raphinha.

“I think he’s got that little twinkle in his eye doing interviews and what not.

“He wanted to sign for Leeds a few years ago and it didn’t happen.

“He’s had a season or two at Man United and he will have grown and learnt a bit, but I think he’s excited to be here and we’ll see another level from him.

“Under Marcelo Bielsa, we’ll see what he’s really capable of doing.”

Warrington also heavily praised Patrick Bamford who is now in the England squad after a strong start to the season with Leeds.

“Prior to my world title fight in 2018, he was a bit lost and his games were inconsistent,” Warrington added.

“Bielsa came in and seemed to bring the best out of him. Since then, well we can’t imagine Leeds United without him in there.

“We all knew what he could but it was about bringing that to the England set-up – and boy did he bring it.

“He brought it and then some more and his game is going to go through the roof as his confidence and mentality – he’s done it at the highest level now.”
