Fans have given their suggestions are to how the issue could be resolved, some said for them to play the reserves and others said give Aston Villa a bye or bring Arsenal back…
Bye for Villa then?

What utter rubbish, the FA were already looking at this. Typical, "look at me and how I forced the FA to move the fixture" Should be docked points if a first eleven does not play after this pointless rant.

It’s an excuse to field a much weakened side again.

This is always a ridiculous scheduling problem, why cant they figure out a solution once and for all. The club, whoever it is, have no choice they must play the world club so it puts a domestic comp at risk. Need it sorted

If he refuses to play, kick them out of the cup…simple

@danirvine7: Just give villa a bye then win win for everyone
@PaulDHeenan: Field a youth team and stop complaining.
@JamesBowers1983: Let arsenal back in
@Deanoavfc198686: They won’t drop out and the fixture will no doubt get rearranged to suit them. Seen a few reports that it will be moved to the week beginning Jan 6th
@Wingman1882: Another example of the ridiculous number of games players are being asked to play by greedy administrators. That being said, I’m sure @LFC have a big enough squad & could put out a complete second team including subs if required.
