Liam Rosenior was booked for protesting an off-the-ball incident between Luis Binks and Liam Delap as Hull and Coventry drew 1-1.
The Hull Story report how a number of yellow cards were dished out (seven in total during the last 10 minutes), with one handed to Rosenior for his touchline protests for what he deemed a “rugby tackle” by Binks on Delap, missed by the referee.
At the same time, Latibeaudiere was also carded for bringing down Philogene.
Hull’s 107FM tweeted: “Tempers flare, there’s a melee in the middle of the pitch. Ref is missing this. Incredibly, Rosenior is yellow carded for the on-field fracas! Wow! The upshot is a freekick to #hcafc on the edge of the box. 3 minutes to be added on.”

Hull boss Liam Rosenior said he couldn’t understand why he got a late yellow card for reacting to the incident.
Coventry Telegraph report how EFL referee Tony Harrington went over to the touchline to speak with Rosenior with several players from each side taking to clash.
Asked about his own yellow card, Rosenior said: “I don’t understand that.
“I saw my lad get rugby tackled to the floor, held down for ten seconds and there’s even talk of violent conduct.
“I have not seen it back but that’s what I’m saying, that’s I’m seeing that.
“I reacted to that and asked the fourth official is she’s seen it.
“I couldn’t believe I got a yellow card, to be honest.”
Hull’s Liam Rosenior: “Aaron Connolly’s capable of anything he wants in his career, if he stays on track. He’s not 100 per cent fit, which is scary.
“He’s a leader in the dressing room.
“He’s a massive influence and has really taken Liam Delap under his wing.
“Some of his runs and some of his movement are top level.
“He knows when he needs a rocket but he knows I love him as I’ve known him since he was 15.”
Coventry’s Mark Robins: “I thought it was a really good game between two good teams. Both teams asked questions of each other through the game and we took a deserved lead.
“There were some really good performances from us, but it was disappointing to get our noses in front and then to have chances to score again.
“On balance, though, it was probably a fair result. Every time you come away and you get something, you think, ‘It’s a good point’, but it’s tinged with disappointment because of the timing of their goal.”

This is how fans reacted after Liam Rosenior gets booked protesting the off-the-ball incident between Luis Binks and Liam Delap…
@oxfordtiger2: Won’t that be looked at again? Can’t get away with that surely.
@paulwradio: Apparently we’ve signed a UFC fighter disguised as a centre-back in Luis Binks. When even us Sky Blues fans are all going “oof, how’ve we got away with that”? in the quotes you know it’s bad.
@Jonny_Thornes: Horrible this like but love that @reganslater8 standing up for your team mates propers togetherness love it!
@Aaronnn_96: Hull player should be sent off for getting bullied in his own back yard, embarrassing.
@adbr1985: I’m presuming this will get looked at by the FA
@NShepz: Sums up the refs performance tonight, and if he didn’t see if it’s clear as day for the 4th official to see
@Connor_PUSB: Depending on alternative angles this is either a punch or a push. If it’s a push it’s pretty standard. If it’s a punch he has probably ruined his chance of stealing a spot in the side
@BelcherHCAFC: That’s a punch? Or is it the angle and he pushed him?
@KyleBooth101: Punching people on a pitch acceptable now 🤣🤣 wtf
@Tbt88y: 🤣 how’s he got away with that
@chocice_22: How the linesman missed that is beyond me #hcafc
@ollie_ross14: This and the stamp on twine in the first half, evident lash out here, evident stamp. No repercussions to their team, referring in the EFL is taking a downward spiral very quickly
@BenCollier28: Slater bodied him haha
@_luca23: Considering Binks is being denied the ability to let go, no
@coxy04089062: Ref just runs past and looks at it like it’s nothing
@finbobs2312: @EFL This better be looked into
@PhilBarker6: Elbow to the back of the head … play on sir. Ridiculous.
@bethfenton08: How was this not a red🤯 Ref was awful today… #hcafc
@louisjones04: Said it at the time, straight red 😂 if we get away with this one it’s a bullet dodged #PUSB
@KathrynBatte: Not sure how all of the officials missed this. Will surely be looked at retrospectively. The “what’s going on there” really amused me.
@TheSkyBlueHub: All very weird – I think Delap must have done something to provoke a reaction from Binks – fear he might get a retrospective ban off FA if they deem it a punch thrown
@Aaronnn_96: Just like that, Luis Binks is my new favourite player. Absolutely love to see it, slapping the opposition about in their own gaff 😂 #PUSB
@Moseley3_: Got away with one. Player was booked by the referee meaning the FA cannot intervene. Lucky #PUSB #HCAFC
@LeeScott92: The more you watch it the worse it gets. How the hell he got away with this I’ll never know. Wish Regan put him on his arse a lot harder. #hcafc
@martynwaites86: How was this not a sending off?! 🤯
