Liam Gallagher speaks out on viral video of him ‘sh*thousing’ young Man Utd supporter

Liam Gallagher speaks out on the gone viral video of him which showed him ‘sh*thousing’ a young Man Utd supporter at Wembley.

Gallagher was delighted to see Manchester City defeat their local rivals 2-1 in the FA Cup Final. with Ilkay Gundogan scoring in both halves, the opener after jus 12 seconds, then cancelled out Bruno Fernandes’ 33rd minute penalty.

The Red Devils avoided going a man down with Casemiro escaping a red card after a stamp on Manuel Akanji, and Jack Grealish was harshly judged to have handled in the area, even though the rules, albeit stupid, are clear.

David de Gea appeared to have a hard time keeping out the second goal as it took a while for the ball to make it’s way into the corner.

As City went wild, Gallagher could be seen taunting a young United fan in a red home kit.

However, a few hours after the final, the man himself spoke out on Twitter.

He wrote: “The young lad I was apparently antagonising was my mates kid who I was consoling he’s a Utd fan I love and adore him we’re not all c**** CTID LG.”

Liam Gallagher shot to fame with his brother Noel as frontmen for Oasis, who split up in 2009 following a fall out between the two.

Liam had fans hopeful that the band could come reunite for some huge comeback gigs, so long as City complete the Treble by beating Inter Milan in the Champions League final next weekend.

When asked: “Oasis will return if Manchester City win the Champions League? A possibility?”

He responded: “I’m ready to go.”

Noel however remains unconvinced, as he said to The Sun earlier this week that his brother was “full of s***.”

On the subject of music, Man City’s players spent Saturday night rocking with Elton John on the runway after spotting the legend at the airport after returning back up north.

Pep Guardiola was present at the AO Arena to watch the 76-year old former Watford chairman, who had just completed the last of three shows at the venue.

But he looked delighted as Man City’s squad and staff serenaded him on the runway after a chance meeting.

The video clip showed Kevin De Bruyne and Phil Foden, along with Kyle Walker, all embracing the moment.

Then, the club’s Twitter account posted another photo of staff taking photos with Elton John as his hit song “Your Song” played out.

Elton then told the squad, “One more next weekend!”.

The City squad applauded, and then gathered round the music icon to give him the FA Cup Trophy to hold as they posed for a picture.

This is what Twitter users had to say as Liam Gallagher speaks out on a viral video of him ‘sh*thousing’ a young Man Utd supporter…

@carl_mann: Holding back his kid is wild haha

@Josh_Deegan: It looked like harmless banter to me LG, no antagonising. Had my fair share come my way today, too. Never mind… Congrats on the win and now to support Inter Milan 👀😂

@NeilOakley16: Love it that the lad is throwing punches at him 🤣🤣

@mrcolaz: He looked him back in anger

@wozwebs: Ignore them Liam, just announce those new dates. We’ll be there.

@robharries83: Even though City won, I can’t dislike Liam.

@FartInTheBath: He just has to roll with it

@sindydoll: Antagonising? Oh gods sake is that what ppl are saying? I wasn’t thinking that at all! Was lovely to see you and the fam out! What a day! What a result! Congratulations 💙💙😍⚽️🙌

@Ricardo_1892: Sad world when you have to explain the obvious, bet the boy had a fantastic day apart from the result 👍

@seandavey11: I think most of us from a certain generation had sussed that, it’s what we used to call ‘having the craic’ .

@RockySAFC: Surely no one seen that clip and thought he was antagonising the young lad. The kid looked happy and it’s clear they knew each other

@lostinmusic72: No need to explain – you could tell it was just fun

@andyneal: 👏👏 All in the name of fun and pretty obvious… ignore the haters 👍 gotta love football

@dippyntig: The things you love to see 😂

@jamielennie1874: Football banter starts at an early age I’ve had it as a youngster a long time ago and I’ve gave it out as an older supporter it’s what makes us I could see that today those that’s didn’t don’t know

@DG95Official: That’s so cheeky 😅🤣

@brougher1: Liam Gallagher having to explain that he knew the kid he was winding up is 1 of many things that’s wrong with this planet now. People are forever offended on behalf of others without actually knowing all the facts. FWIW it was obvious he knew the kid. And obvious it was banter.

@rickymorland: Brilliant that, the kids mam celebrating, then consoling the kid, then Gallagher taunts him and he starts throwing bats. Good crack!

@stu_woj: The young lad must be made up that Liam made a fuss of him. No harm in that what so ever! None at all and it’s really nice to see a bit of playfulness which no doubt played out across homes in Manchester this weekend.

@littlea77: Shouldn’t need an explanation. Was obvious straight away on TV, even as a United fan that you were just jokingly winding him up. Please tell me people haven’t actually complained about this.

@marky1999: What a tool 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

@johnbrennan1611: Can’t believe people thought you were serious, I’m a United fan and laughed, looked like he was able to give it back too.

@dave1470: Hottest day of the year and he’s got that daft coat on. Must smell like Haaland’s sack.
