Leeds United brutally troll cocky Mark Wright on Twitter after West Ham suffer a surprise defeat to the Whites at the weekend.
A thrilling contest saw the Hammers fall to a 3-2 loss at home with Jack Harrison scoring a superb hat-trick despite Leeds being hit hard by Covid after being beaten 2-0 by the same opponents in the FA Cup just a week prior.
Despite arriving with a thin squad which included several teenagers, they produced an inspired performance to overcome David Moyes’ side, who should have really equalised in the 94th-minute through the in-form Jarrod Bowen, only to blow that opportunity when Bowen chested his effort from Michail Antonio’s late cross.
The Only Way is Essex star and Hammers supporter Mark Wright had been showing off how confident he was in a West Ham win before the match.
In a video posted to social media, Wright gave his pre-match prediction while making his way through the Olympic Park.
“I’m just going to watch West Ham pump Leeds all over the shop,” he boldly stated.
Little did he know that Leeds was hit three goals past them and off his notifications went with many roasting him, so much so that it caught the eye of Leeds’ social media team.
On Monday, Leeds uploaded his video and captioned it ‘The Only Way is Leeds!’

The Yorkshire club but his prediction into a montage of Jack Harrison’s three goals, then ended it on another clip from Wright.
“I look like a complete mug with what I’ve just said,” Mark concludes.
“Haha love it,” he replied after seeing Leeds’ tweet.
it win was Leeds’ second in succession in the Premier League and moved them onto 22 points, nine clear of the relegation zone, much to the relief of their supporters.
West Ham remain in fourth place, two points clear of Arsenal, who saw their north London derby with Tottenham called off due to Covid.

“I have to give credit to the players to play Leeds last week and then a game in midweek. An excuse? Maybe, but a bit of a fair one,” said Hammers boss David Moyes.
“People who play against Leeds will know the intensity you need to play. We knew we had them in the league after the FA Cup but then the Premier League stuck the game in midweek.
“We found it difficult to get prepared quickly. We made mistakes, no-one else’s fault, but there were other reasons for it as well.”
The Whites won an enticing five goal thriller at the London Stadium, courtesy of a hat-trick from Jack Harrison.
Bielsa was pleased with the victory and heaped praise on the players for their efforts.
“It was a very even game, a beautiful game, a typical Premier League game,” said Bielsa.
“It was good the difference was in our favour, but the margin was very small.
“It is a triumph for the players because the effort they put in was moving, they produced a desire to win which was very, very big.
“I’m very happy for Jack, he is a very noble player who puts in a lot of effort.
“Today the performance of Raphinha, Harrison and James, the three of them complemented each other really well, we had an offensive capacity we didn’t have in the last game.
“It really was a match for the players, because with each of them you can find a reason why they stood out.
“To have won two games in a row in the Premier League is a stimulus, but we now have to sustain the performances over time.”

@whufcdp: Some shit team acting as if they’re so much better than us. You beat us when we didn’t have our main CB pairing or our holding mid, a LB who’s just come back from injury, our injury prone ST who’s played 210 minutes in a week and a squad that has had 3 games in a week. Pipe down
@infant_hercules: He literally went home to Michelle Keegan. I’ve got a feeling he’s not going to be arsed, lads
