As it’s Christmas and because we’re also at the halfway point in the English Football League 2018/19 season, we have taken a look at the League One league leaders from the past 10 years and where they ended up finishing.

They ended up finishing in 1st and were crowned champions.

In the 2009/10 season, Leeds United were top of League One at Christmas.
They ended up finishing in 2nd and were promoted to the Championship.
