Latest new kits from Premier League, EFL and non league clubs for 2022/23 – 5th June

We take a look at the latest newly unveiled kits from English clubs for the 2022/23 season, and the majority of them have gone down well.

The 2021/22 campaign is over and done with, so now their attention can only turn to the next one, and with clubs still needing cash to boost their finances to make up for the last few seasons, now is the perfect time to release them to supporters, plus with the start date earlier than usual in mind.

Over the last few weeks, we’ve come across a variety of kits, some looking rather nice, though others haven’t proved popular, and then you have you just plain average bunch. Take a look at the latest collection to be launched below…

PORT VALE HOME KIT

Port Vale Football Club is proud to unveil our home kit for the 2022/23 Sky Bet League One season inspired by Vale Park, produced by Errea.

The Valiants have called Vale Park our home for 70 years and it has become part of the fabric of our local community.

Vale Park is woven into our history, woven into the local community and is now woven into the fabric of our brand-new home kit.

At Port Vale, we believe in wearing your heart on your sleeve and now the heart of our football club and the lifeblood of the community will be worn with pride throughout the upcoming campaign.

Vale Park is more than just a stadium, it’s our home.

The shirt sees us make a return to our traditional black and white with a stylish round neck collar as part of its simplistic yet eye catching design.

The shorts are white, featuring the same Vale Park trim and the head-to-toe look is completed by black and white socks which displays PVFC down the calf.

The strip also has the option of alternate shorts and socks with the colours inverted.

Synectics Solutions remain as the front-of-shirt sponsors and we are delighted to continue our partnerships with Staffordshire University and Global QA Consultants who remain as our rear-of-shirt and back-of-short sponsors respectively.

Every journey starts from home, and we invite you to join us for our 2022/23 campaign.

Valiants wishing to obtain the new home kit ahead of the Club Shop launch can pre-order from 9am on Friday 10th June online here.

The Club are delighted to reveal Stoke City Football Club’s new Black Away Shirt for the 2022/23 season.

For the black away kit, one of the main standout features is the embossed pattern of the ‘Fetty Cross’ taken from the City coat of arms. The embossed cross-style design originally from the Fenton Coat of Arms, covers the whole of the front of the shirt as well as the sleeves.

In comparison to the two other kits, the black away shirt will include a red Club crest and Macron logo which will be embroidered onto the front of the shirt.

The names and numbers will be printed in standout red, alongside the bet365 sponsor on the front of the shirt. The modern style shirt will also adopt a black v neck collar with the words ‘The Potters’ embroidered on the back of the neck area.

STOKE CITY AWAY KIT (WHITE)

Stoke City Football Club are pleased to unveil the Club’s new White Away Shirt for the upcoming 2022/23 season.

This seasons white away shirt has taken direct inspiration from the 1974/75 season at the Club, which during this period would have been worn by the likes of club legends Terry Conroy and Alan Hudson.

The standout feature of the kit includes a red and black, sash style stripe which will run diagonally from the top of the shirt to the bottom corner.

Like the already announced home shirt for the 2022/23 season, the white away shirt will include a black Club crest whilst the Macron logo will be white and will sit in-between the middle of the diagonal band.

The names and numbers on the shirt will also be printed in black, alongside the bet365 sponsor on the front. The shirt will also feature a four-line black and red trim on both the shirt’s sleeves and the polo style collar.

As the kit takes a lot of inspiration from the 70’s era of the Club, it would only be fitting to include a special embossed crest on the back neck celebrating this era.

Shirt prices will be frozen for the 4th year in a row with the 22/23 White Away Shirt priced as follows, Adult Shirt – £48, Junior Shirt – £38, Infant/ Baby Shirt & Short – £40

STOKE CITY HOME KIT

Stoke City Football Club are delighted to unveil the Club’s new home shirt for the upcoming 2022/23 season.

Honouring our Club’s tradition, the Potters will once again don the red and white stripes on both the front and the back of the home shirt.

The red stripes on the shirt will feature a new modern chevron design within them, whilst retaining the established tradition of the stripes.

For the first time since 2006, the Club has made the decision to make a notable difference to previous kits, by reintroducing black as an additional colour.

With blue no longer being a colour present on our home kit, the Macron logo is stitched on in black, with the names and numbers on the shirt also being printed in black, alongside the bet365 sponsor on the front.

A lot of the design has taken inspiration from the many shirts worn by the Potters in the past, which has proven popular amongst many supporters, both the older generation and new.

The shirt will also feature a black and red trim on both the shirt’s sleeves and the retro style round neck collar.

Shirt prices will be frozen for the 4th year in a row with the 22/23 Home Shirt priced as follows, Adult Shirt – £48, Junior Shirt – £38, Infant/ Baby Shirt & Short – £40

ROTHERHAM UNITED HOME KIT

Commemorating a decade of New York memories, in style.

The club have collaborated with The Graphic Bomb to assist with the design of a strip which – like the stadium itself which it has been designed to celebrate – is iconic and eye-catching.

Once again working closely with Puma Teamwear, the Millers have this season taken the opportunity to mark 10 years of football at our AESSEAL New York Stadium home with a sleek but subtle nod to the unique architecture at the place that we call ‘home’ incorporated into this year’s design.

This season’s ‘primary’ strip has a classy feel to it, with the club welcoming back a black trim to accompany the famous red and white for the first time since the late 90s.

Also modernised and featured on the shirt is the brand new logo of our main primary shirt sponsors, IPM Group, whose branding proudly sits atop the bespoke illustrations provided to commemorate 10 years at the stadium.

The shirt features a black round-neck collar which is accompanied by the same trim on the arms, whilst retaining the traditional predominantly white sleeves which have been so highly in-demand by Millers supporters over the years.

The shorts include a similarly subtle black trim, whilst this season’s socks are highly-comparable to those worn by the Millers throughout the 90s, with a white and black trim running around the sleeve above the Puma Cat logo.

Hugely popular, the tramlines made famous in the 70s have returned on the front of the Sky Blues shirt for next season, either side of the Club crest.

25th May marks the 60th anniversary of the consecration of Coventry Cathedral in 1962 and the tramline includes the pattern from the stained-glass windows of the Cathedral.

Elsewhere, the stained-glass windows are also replicated inside the neck of the shirt, alongside the words ‘In Our Coventry Homes’.

The shirt features a classic round neck collar, designed for comfort and style, while the famous Hummel chevrons feature prominently on the sleeves.

Coventry City’s sponsor BoyleSports is on the front of the shirt too and is in keeping with the overall design of the kit. The BoyleSports logo will be on all retail shirts, except for Junior and Infant sizes.

MAN CITY HOME KIT

Available to buy now, the new kit takes its inspiration from the fearless City teams of the late 1960s – but also from the man our fans nicknamed ‘Colin the King’.

One of City’s greatest ever players, Bell was inspirational for the Club for a decade and in 1967/68, he was the driving force in a side that won its first league title in 31 years.

As one of City’s biggest icons, the new home kit pays tribute to Bell and the City sides of that era.

The new 2022/23 home kit echoes the classic designs of the past, placing the Club crest at the centre of the light blue jersey with signature maroon trims on the sleeve cuffs.

The crown logo placed inside the neckline pays tribute to ‘Colin the King’.
