Jayson Molumby tries to headbutt then punches Mallorca player Samú Costa as brawl breaks out during this weekend’s pre-season friendly.

A video has surfaced on social media, and with the Baggies midfielder clashing with his opponent just before half time after he had been on the end of a dangerous tackle by the Mallorca player.

The clip has quickly gone viral, many amused, others shocked and condemning the scenes which ended the first half earlier than planned.

It is said that there had been a coming together earlier on in the game, which was streamed by Spanish media.

Players from both sides rushed in in an attempt to separate the duo, who dropped to the floor, and the referee then brought the half to an early conclusion, five minutes before the interval.

The second half began without Molumby, who was withdrawn by boss Carlos Corberan. Costa also came off. Mallorca took the lead on the 65th minute, as a free-kick rebounded out and was tapped home from the six-yard box.
