Jamille Matt ‘breaks every finger’ in his hand after having a horrific dislocation during his side’s game against Bolton Wanderers.

The Forest Green player suffered a horrific hand injury and was stretchered off just six minutes to his side’s match.

Matt collided with Bolton midfielder MJ Williams in the opening minute of their League Two clash on Saturday afternoon.

The accidental collision left the Jamaican striker reeling away in agony before hitting the deck, looking at his hand in disbelief as can be seen in the picture below.

His fingers appeared to be completely bent and in a seriously bad way as the physio rushed onto the field of play.

A crest-fallen Matt was treated on the pitch and subsequently carried off on a stretcher.

His manager stated after the game that he will no doubt be out for the rest of the season, but will still need assessing to work out the long-term effects.

Eoin Doyle scored his 16th goal of the season to put Bolton above promotion rivals Forest Green in a 1-0 win that stretched their unbeaten run to 13 games.

The hosts suffered a body blow inside two minutes when top scorer Jamille Matt was stretchered off with a suspected broken arm.

However, Mark Cooper’s side produced the first shot on the 19th minute – Kane Wilson drove into the box to induce a gloved response from Matt Gilks.

The Trotters broke the deadlock on 39 minutes when Nathan Delfouneso beat Baily Cargill down the right to arrow a superb cross onto the foot of Doyle, who volleyed home with ease.

Bolton had a second-half penalty claim turned down when Oladapo Afolayan felt to ground following a tangle with Udoka Godwin-Malife before Ian Evatt’s side went on to comfortably see the game out, the result puts them in the top three whilst Rovers dropped into the playoffs for the first time since January.

Ian Evatt after today’s win at Forest Green: “I think it’s the best win of the season so far for a number of reasons.The pitch was very difficult, the weather conditions, the opposition made it tough we had to we have to fight and scrap.

“Good teams find a way we found a way today, sometimes it’s never going to be pretty, even though the goal was an excellent goal, and the way we got there in these conditions was excellent.

“Really pleased for the players because that was a hell of a shift. All we can do is just concentrate on ourselves. Still 33 points to go we just need to look after ourselves and keep doing our job.“
