Jack Grealish was caught swearing as he breaks a Premier League record in their 2-1 defeat against Chelsea on Sunday afternoon.
With stadiums now empty, it brings us closer to the pitch than ever before in terms of what is heard from the dugouts and on a Premier League pitch.
Like many times we’ve heard the odd swear word shouted from either a player or staff members, Sunday saw microphones picked up what Jack Grealish said to be booked against Chelsea.
Most times a player has been fouled in a Premier League match this season:

The Villa midfielder was fouled nine times today against Chelsea, making it the most fouls on one player in a Premier League match this season. The last player to be fouled as many times was Wilfried Zaha against Manchester United in May 2017 (10).
His frustration boiled over in the closing stages and he was shown a yellow card by referee Paul Tierney, after Grealish shouting “shut the fuck up” in a coming together with Chelsea players.
The foul took place early in the first half against Chelsea, and with over eight and a half more games to go, there is bound to be more times Grealish will be taken to ground.
Dean Smith had this to say after the game…

Back in February, Wilfried Zaha spoke out about the lack of protection he gets from officials.
The player, who is among the top ten most fouled players in the Premier League this season said to talkSPORT: “It’s definitely frustrating. I end up losing my head because I feel [the officials] are the only ones who can protect me.
“I’m never going to stop dribbling. All I want to do is play football for as long as possible and I may seem like I’m always moaning but only me, my team and my doctors see my cuts at the end of the game.
“It’s up to the officials to officiate the games. Last season I had the longest injuries I’ve ever got in both my knees. I don’t want to be sidelined like that.”
Grealish boasts seven goals and six assists in the league this season, becoming the club’s most important player when it comes to their chances of survival.
Despite Villa being in the relegation zone, his impressive form has seen pundits urge Gareth Southgate to call him up for England’s Euros squad.
The Villa captain has also been linked with a move away from the club, especially if Villa go do, with Manchester United reportedly interested.

Grealish just falls over. Not surprised he’s the most fouled.

Anybody made the link that Grealish is the most fouled player (consistently), because he wastes his talent by looking for fouls and chucking himself on the floor… See it coming every time, boring. ?

I swear Ref’s are programmed to blow their whistle as soon as Grealish goes to ground

Is it compulsory for the commentator to mention Grealish is the most fouled player in the league every time he gets fouled ?

Swear Grealish spends 90% of a game on the floor

Jack Grealish is a top player, but everytime he gets touched, he’s on the ground. #AVLCHE

Has Grealish got earthworm dna? He definitely favours being horizontal on the ground. He hardly waits to be in possession as he’s already falling. Most fouled my arse!
