Ilkeston Town impress fans again by signing more former Premier League and Championship players ready for the 2022/23 season.
The club aren’t messing around as they heavily strengthen their side as they face a tough campaign in a new high level league.
The latest additions to the Derbyshire outfit are Ben Turner and Jamie Ward with no doubt more signings expected in the next few weeks.

Former Nottingham Forest and Derby County wide player Jamie Ward signs for the Robins.
The former Northern Ireland international joins us from newly-promoted Buxton FC.
Martin Carruthers said the following upon the signing.
“I am delighted that we have secured a huge signing in Jamie Ward.
“We have been following him for the past 2 seasons and it is an unbelievable coup for this football club.
“It’s a real statement of intent and to get him from Buxton after their own recent promotion shows how highly the club is currently thought of.

Former Coalville Town goalkeeper Tomasz Bukowski who was a big part of their playoff push last season also extends his stay.
28-year-old right-back Kalern Thomas has joined the Robins.
The former Solihull Moors and Coalville Town right-back joins Martin Carruthers’ side as we move into the Southern Premier League Central for the 2022/23 season.
