Ibrahimovic is in ‘advanced negotiations’ with Premier League side Everton according to reports in the last 24 hours.
Over in Italy, it’s claimed that he has rebuffed AC Milan after he demanded that they double their offer of £1.7million over 18 months.
The 38 year old has been on the market ever since he departed MLS side LA Galaxy on the 13th of November and now Everton are keen on bringing him to Goodison with another media outlet say Watford also is an option.
The Toffees have been in touch with his agent Mino Raiola, who is also the representative of Italian striker Moise Kean who left Juventus for the Everton over the summer.
However, has said it remains to be seen where his client’s future lies.
Raiola said told Gazzetta dello Sport: “It’s not been said that he will necessarily return to Italy. Which of the three interested clubs will he choose? Who knows, we’re all free men.
“Could he retire? I’m not going to exclude anything but it is very unlikely. Ibra is still very well.”
