Ian Wright pokes fun at Alan Shearer’s tweet slamming Newcastle players in their 4-1 defeat at Arsenal on Saturday night.
The Gunners legend could only laugh at his fellow Match of the Day pundit, who posted his thoughts on Twitter on his side’s dismal performance in the first half.
‘Any danger of putting a f*****g tackle in’ Shearer said in a post, with Ian Wright quickly responding by uploading a video of him tucking into a takeaway meal with a smirk on his face while giving Shearer a thumbs up and smile.
Shearer added another tweet, saying: “Arsenal brilliant. Newcastle shambolic.”

Shearer, who is working for Premier League productions, expressed just how unimpressed he was at Newcastle’s performance, singling out Kieran Tripper and Botman for criticism.
He said that the duo were “all over the place” while Botman had his “worst game” since signing for the club.
“Good play from Arsenal,” Shearer said for the second goal. “But there is just no pressure on the ball.
“If you look, you have three or four players of Newcastle standing and watching in passive. You have got to get up. You have to put pressure on the ball, otherwise, with the players Arsenal have, really, really good players, talented players, they are going to hurt you.
“Trippier is all over the place at the back. Botman’s all over the place at the back and they end up getting a tap-in.
“Really good from Arsenal, but terrible from Newcastle. Where is the pressure? Where is the desire to go and close someone down?
“You are being battered by a very good team, so you have to roll your sleeves up and you have to put up a bit of a fight. None of that from Newcastle.”
Come full time of the Premier League clash, Shearer added: “Botman had his worst game in a Newcastle shirt, he gave the ball away and they couldn’t recover. Arsenal’s passing was slick.”
Bukayo Saka, Kai Havertz, Jakub Kiwior and an own goal from Sven Botman help the Gunners to a big win; Joe Willock scored late consolation for a Magpies side that were outplayed, with Mikel Arteta’s team delivering performance to show they are firmly in Premier League title race.

Newcastle manager Eddie Howe, speaking to TNT Sports: “In the first half we weren’t ourselves. The second half was much better until the third goal which knocked us.
“Arsenal were very good, we weren’t and we got punished. We were off in most aspects of our games, we didn’t do the basics right.
“Arsenal put us under pressure and we made technical mistakes. Sometimes you have those spells, you have to weather them, but unfortunately we didn’t do that.
“We started the second half really well and chances to get a goal which would have been crucial.
“I need to see it again before I make rash statements – but we were not where we needed to be, whether that was psychological or technical. We just weren’t there.”
Howe, this time speaking to Match of the Day: “They played well, we played poorly. We’re very honest with ourselves, the first 45 minutes was not good enough.
“We were second best and didn’t react well under pressure. Sometimes you go away and you’re under pressure but we had to be stronger, withstand the pressure and it led to a disappointing 45 minutes.
“We can’t take too many positives from today. From 45 to when they scored their third goal, we were good and the better team but the goal kills the game.
“If we scored the next goal we’re back in the game and anything can happen.
“But we didn’t we and conceding the third summed up our recent weeks – we haven’t been good enough defensively.”
